Has anyone been to Westgate since they re-did the sorts book? I was there a couple years ago and had a great time. Gonna be there to watch my Patriots go to 12-0. Looking for a fun place to bet and watch. Thanks. GO PATS!!!!!!!!

I'm sure someone will chime in soon, if not, I'm checking it out this weekend, I'll let you know what I think, and if possible I'll snap some pics.

Complete shit as of two weeks ago.
Construction everywhere...was supposed to be done for CFB season, didn't happen.
The supposed to be done for Breeders cup weekend. Again - didn't happen.

    Too many windows closed....

    But.... Much better TVs.

Now.... The worst news. The Westgate has went to the "ticket system" for drinks.
$50 sports bet for 1 drink. $10 horse bet for one ticket.
Advertised 6 ticket max per day....though not enforced.

Waitresses who have been there for years hate it. Their tips have been slashed by 70%. Love the old gals at the Superbook and feel bad for them.

As do all good things....they come to an end. Pisses me off.

This from a guy who has made Hilon, LVH, Westgate - whatever the flavor of the year is - home base in Vegasfor the better part of 8 years.

Most important improvement to actually take place - the elevators now work, 95% of the time ;)
