Nice summary for downtown; I love downtown. I believe there is a very insignificant error though. I believe that the nugget on display at the GN is not the LARGEST golden nugget; I think the display says it is the LARGEST GOLDEN NUGGET ON DISPLAY. I could be wrong.......it has happened, lol

We just got from our trip this evening.

We stopped by the Flamingo to sign up for the slot club. I was trying to get the deal where you spend $10 at the slots and get the $10 free.

Well, the lady said they discontinued that deal just last week.

I then asked about the monorail ticket promo. She said that was just changed also. They are now giving out t-shirts to anyone who still trys to present a ticket. So no more free $5.00 slot play for a monorail ticket.

    Vegasbound,

How about adding Dean Martin and Friends at the Barbary Coast. Tuesdays 8 pm to 11 pm. Don't know if this is an ongoing show, but we saw it last Tuesday and it was fine.

Canadiangurl, I try to keep each of the lists as updated as I possibly can. Things are constantly changing, but I edit as soon as I learn of any changes. Print off the lists before your trip and you'll have the most up to date listing of happenings available.

Pebbles, I've added the show. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

    Curious

What do you mean by a free slot pull? and do most hotels give free stuff when you sign up for their slot card? or do you have to play lots first....

thanks to anyone who can help me with this...

A free slot pull is a promotional thing that some casinos run. Sometimes you have to sign up for their players card to get the pull. Sometimes not. You don't have to play a cent in the casino to get it. You just find it, get in line and make the pull. You will probably win some interesting Vegas trinket for your trouble.
