    My Trip Report

I can't believe its been 3 months since I've been in Vegas. Going to celebrate my anniversary with the wife and baby. It will be a hassle going around and gambling since we're staying at the Trump and I don't [STRIKE]gamble[/STRIKE] win at the Wynn. A few things planned for this weekend

    1. Eat at pizza rock (downtown), Bardot bistro, Echo and Rig brunch, Tender steakhouse, Fat Choy brunch, Gelatology (if anyone has any suggestions on what to order I would appreciate it)
    2. Dolphin Habitat at Mirage (mlife reward)
    3. Shark Aquarium at Mandalay (mlife reward)
    4. Verbena cocktail and Chandelier
    5. Gamble! (BR - $1.5K, i'm normally a BJ/craps player but being on VMB makes me want to play some VP and baccarat)
    6. Try to hit a 7 team NFL parlay

I'll be wearing my VMB bracelet so hopefully I'll run into some of you at the tables this weekend!

Best of luck all weekend, especially with a 7 team parlay.

Thank you! Kid is a little over 2. That's why we have so many outings planned. If there was no kid... Eat, drink, gamble, clubbing, repeat....

Hope you have a great time- good luck!

I've just come back from my last trip, and I went to the Dolphin habitat (The Siegfried and Roy thing right?) and found it very upsetting. The Shark Reef however was excellent and I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Can't wait to read your TR, hope you have a lovely anniversary too!

Ok late start to this trip. My kid actually slept in which means we all slept in. Left around 10am, no traffic out of LA. Only stop today was Barstow station.

Man the food here is good. We tried the location in downtown on our last trip and the one is green Valley is just as good.

Caesar salad and calamari (half Calabrese version and half normal)

Margherita pizza (only have 74 available a day). This is my favorite. Not your typical pie, need to eat with your fork and knife but the sauce is on point along with that nicely charred crust.

If you are looking for another outing with your two year old, go to the Children's Discovery Museum near the Smith Center. Our four year old granddaughter loved it so much she didn't want to leave. She also loved the play place at Towne Square.

Okay... The valet at trump is ridiculous. Waited 22 minutes for car because they forgot about it. No apologies either. Man. Bad start but looking forward to dinner at bardot!

Didn't know that they already opened carbone next door. Need to go try their meatballs next trip.

Good stuff so far! Really sucks about Trump's valet. You'd think you could at least get a half-assed "sorry"...:rolleyes2:

Sorry about the Trump valet ordeal. Hope things there improve.

I don't think I've read a Trump TR on VMB (or much of anything about the place for that matter). Look forward to hearing about the good and the bad - sounds like you're due for some more good.

Can't wait for your thoughts on Bardot. I'm looking forward to checking it out next weekend.

    Best of luck!

    Cute kid, btw.

Thanks. I hope it only gets better from here. I would give bardot a 7.5-8 out of 10. Service was great. Food was good. First, the chicken everyone talks about was good not great . The cod on the other hand was absolutely delicious. I still think bouchon is the place to beat when it comes down to French bistros in Vegas.
