Thinking of coming to LV for SB. On priceline Hooters is $200 for a room while Luxor,Flamingo, ect are under $100.
What gives? Last time I went to Hooters 10yrs ago it was nothing special, and dead.
Did they do a huge remodel or something?? Just curious...

Just a guess but they have maybe 1/5 of the rooms of Luxor. Maybe even less. So they just set their price high from the get go. Also it could be Priceline gouging their price because they have only a small amount of rooms and it triggers a high price, or some algorithm to raise the price.

Another guess is maybe the Super Bowl being in Bay Area, some of the Bay Area and even SoCal people are going to the game or parties around the game instead of Vegas and it's keeping demand low, that's why Luxor is cheap.

I am booked for Sat-Wed @ Gold Coast for Super Bowl weekend.
    Thankfully, all comped!

Hooters must be satisfied with how many rooms they have sold at this point. They only have 600 rooms or so to fill. That is a crazy price for that joint in my opinion.

That's ridiculous. Stay at Luxor and use the $100 saved to buy a open bar package at a super bowl party.

I'd sleep on the sidewalk before I paid, $200/night to stay at the Hooters Hotel and Casino.

I paid $25 to book a last minute room there when I needed to change a flight to meet a friend that could only fly in at like midnight the night before I originally planned. I feel like I overpaid.
