how to spend $300 food/drink credit at Bellagio?

my offer comes with $300 food/drink credit at Bellagio. I am solo and only have a day or so to spend it.
I don't drink, not in Vegas,I need to be sober to concentrate on gambling (playing slot machine that is!).
$300 is not enough for a fancy dinner, but it's more than I can eat at the Buffet.
Other times, when I had $150, or $200, I just ate a couple of buffets and wasted the rest.
But this time, waste $200? sounds foolish.

Any good suggestions? BTW, I don't go to steakhouse, not even eat beef.

 

That's more than enough to have a nice dinner at Lago without booze.

 

In the other thread where the guy is asking why a host isn't interested in his 5k bankroll, you said that you are a lower roller than he is. Yet you have a $300 dining credit at one of the top properties on the strip?

 

When I have a big F&B credit and I'm solo, I usually have a lot of room service, nice coffee and snacks at Jean Phillipe patisserie. I also take full advantage of the mini bar.

 

It's true. I even had time I got more than $300 credited plus similar amount of free play.
I never brought to or risked $5000 in Vegas in a trip. Not even once. I assume that means my Vegas bank roll is less than $5000.

Thanks. But I am not interested in bar. No point to sit there if I don't drink. I don't even drink coffee.

 

My favorite meals at Bellagio are the dim sum cart at Noodles, Lago, and Michael Mina. I would try those

 

Don't drink.
No meat.
No Coffee.

That takes many options off the table.

The steakhouse and other places have lots of non-meat options, assuming you eat fish.

Sitting at bar to eat and only having water is acceptable.

You could find somebody and offer to buy their dinner.

Mini bar does have other items besides booze. Of, if you do drink at other times, you can take those little bottles home.

 

I don't have a F/B credit but a resort credit of $150 for the two day stay. I asked, and you cannot charge other MLife resort charges back to your room and have them covered, but they did mention that I could use them for the resort fees. I had a previous offer which had a $50 f/b credit w/o resort fees, but even @ $30/day, I still have $90 to use. I imagine I will just use it for smaller things maybe from the mini-bar, gift shop, snacks and what-not. I am also traveling solo for those 2 days but will be meeting about 30 others for the last part of my trip.

 

I don't see why this is a problem...You have to eat something and $300 will cover a tasting menu at M Mina or LeCirque

 

I didn't know you could drink water at bar. I thought it must be booze.
I have no friends in Vegas. Offering dinner to strangers seems creepy,
there was once I tried to give away two free show tickets (a good Cirque Du Soleil show), didn't succeed.

 

Thanks for the suggestions. I have stayed at Bellagio at least 5 times, never heard Michael Mina before.
I am just a cheap buffet guy (Bellagio's buffet is not really cheap, I would never pay out of pocket to eat there.)

That is indeed a good idea. I never thought about it. At least I could take a few chocolates and candies home.
I know they are super-over-priced, but at least better than nothing. Last time at Aria, I left more than $100 credit unused.

If it's a straight F/B credit then go eat somewhere nice, if it's a R/C, then you could also buy things at the gift shop including not so overpriced booze and use it up that way.

 

He plays slots. 5k for slot play is a lot different then 5k for table games for the casino. That is a lot of coin in per day.

 

Also Prime Steakhouse has fish and other entrees other then steak. I often go to the high end steakhouses and usually one person in my group will order a non beef dish and they are always fabulous. With out booze, you can easily get a couple high end meals and a buffet at Bellagio for $300. Enjoy!

 

Yeah. Last trip I sat at a machine, don't remember what it was, very stupid machine, put in $100 and played $3 a pull. It kept giving back small wins so I kept playing on it.
I played almost 3 hours and finally cashed out $170. Not really a win, but racked up a lot of points.
A few sessions like that per trip, one can easily earn enough theo for future offers.
Right after I checked out, I received an offer with more food credits than usual, and that's the $300 I am talking about.
My actual result of that trip: after I paid the taxis driver from Bellagio to the airport, my money in my pocket was $100 more than when I arrived at the airport.
Basically I wasted two days for getting $100. A super low roller.

 

My one is F/B, I asked, not able to use at gift shop, probably not able to pay resort fee either. I don't have to pay resort fee anyway. Never ever paid resort fee.

I did have a FB offer but for $50 without resort fees, and then another offer came as a $150 RC with resort fees for the 2 days. $60 for the two days still equals $90 for me so I rebooked under that offer. I can use the $150 to offset fees so it shouldn't be a problem using it.
