    Hi all,

Does Anyone know if we would stay in a 2bedroom suite in an mgm hotel with 2 couples (4 persons) and we would charge all our expenses to the room, would they look at the combined play of all 4 persons staying in the room to determine the backend comps?

    Thanks alot!

Not certain, but my best guess is that for the purpose of backend comps (applying primary comps), they are only going to evaluate the play of the person or persons who reserved the room. But the other players will at least generate some express comps that could also be applied to the bill at checkout

We usually now recieve offers for A normal room at Mirage for 3 days and Some Rc and/or FP.

Would you have A good chance to recieve an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite when I call VIP services which would be cheaper than just reserving the 2 Br thru the mlife site?
We go in may with my nephew and niece who are vegasvirgins and I would like to stay with them in A Nice suite to experience the glitter of this superb town.

And if I do this , the room costs and other costs would only be possibly comped in the end based only on my play and not on theirs?

Hard to answer... some missing data points here....

Anyways... if the suite is comped up front, you have to "work that off" before getting additional comps. Next question is what sort of play and comps do you normally get? Getting an upgrade to a 2BR is not easy unless your play is strong. They only have so many of those available.

A host will look at all the players if you give him all their PC numbers.

Like I said in the reply above yours, we usually get offers for 3 comped nights in A regular room with Some Rc and /or FP.

I also don't expect to get the 2 Br suite fully comped upfront. I would like to ask how much iT would cost me when I call VIP services to book it. I hope this would be around 150-200$ A night...(realisticus?) Or is this not done by VIP services anyway?

And then I would like to work off the upgradefee if possible and I would like to know if the play off all the people staying in the room would contribute to that purpose?

If they're not going to comp it, you have to book it yourself through the hotel.

VIP or a host can't book a paid room or paid upgrade.

But I already answered your other question.

    Thanks a lot!
Was typing when u posted I guess

So there is no use in trying to ask for A paid upgrade on our comped room upfront?
I am sure my play wont get me a fully comped 2 Br suite upfront...

    But would the reverse work?
Lets say I would book the 2 Br suite on the mlife site at their normal price, would A host consider in the end the fact that i could have booked a regular room with Rc/FP, and would he comp at least me the value that offer if I,mentioned that or would he only look at our play from our stay this time around? (I guess the second option...)

A couple years ago, I had a comped regular room at Mirage and the offer said "upgrade to a suite, starting at $75 per night". I upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite for $125/night. I called the VIP services number to do this.

OP, I don't think a 2BR suite for $150-200 is realistic.* There aren't all that many 2BR suites in Vegas, never mind the mLife properties. Off the top of my head, the most affordable ones in the mLife group are the X2/X3 suites (or whatever it's called now) at Mandalay, the 2 bedroom suite at Delano, and the 2 bedroom suite at Vdara. If you go during the dead periods (e.g., Christmas), you might luck out with $300-400/night rates for weekdays, but 2-bedroom suites are somewhat costly.

Also be aware that if you book through the mLife website or casino VIP, there is the (small) possibility that you can get bumped. If you want to minimize your odds of getting bumped, you'll have to pay the rack rate (and not the casino rate) and book through Luxury Reservations or whatever the equivalent is for that casino. If it's not busy during the time you're in Vegas, you should be fine, but if you're going during a popular time, you run the risk of getting bumped.

    * Caveat: I can't speak to "We have an exciting upgrade offer for you!" type of deals.

And now regarding the backend comps, would it be better to play all 4 on the same card and generate 2.5k Theo on that card or would this have the same result as 750-750-500-500$ Theo on 4 separate cards?

Would u even be allowed to play all 4 on the same card? And can you play slots all together with each one having the same playercards number? Or would this cause Some kind of Error message?

The more play you can put on ONE account, the better. And if you have a few members of your group that only play a little each day, their play would probably not matter anyways.

I often play two machines at once with my account, building points. If your wife is also playing on your card, they also roll into the play.
