How do these two players card programs compare. Thinking about staying at either WynnCore or VP in the spring and was wondering which program is better for comps and room offers. I play both table games and slots and my wife plays mostly slots.
I think that "wherever you feel luckiest" should weigh heavily in the equation. I used to play at Wynncore, I loved the place, the ambience, the rooms, the restaurants . . . . However, I was so "unlucky" in the casino. I used to get $300 FP bonuses which would be "gone" in 30 minutes or less, playing penny machines. The comp program at Wynncore is very confusing. The only thing that is straightforward in the comp point/freeplay. Everything else is (AFAIK) a "mystery". Comps don't "save over". One trip I had enough for 7 buffets. I wasn't able to use them. The next trip (2 months) later, I had "nothing left in the bank" and was told that I would be starting from scratch. My experience at V/P has been somewhat better. The program is definitely documented better, the level advance criteria is published and easier to follow. The rooms are, IMHO, just as nice. I still have almost $600 banked with V/P. V/P is now my "backup" player's club program.
As much as we love Wynncore, V/P wins when it comes to comps and clarity in their Player's Club program. You always know where you are and what you have.
