Just checking rates today and instead of Classic/Deluxe/Premium they now have some rooms with those labels AND the tower name.

Specifically they let you book Forum classic King and duck the Roman tower.

Good. I can't believe they were trying to treat them as equal. Roman Tower probably shouldn't even be used if they could avoid it and until they remodel it. Considering the proximity to the casino and convention center, they are probably losing money from failing to invest in it a long time ago.

Ok, I may have spoken too soon.

When I went in with my players card I saw options for classic and forum classic.

When you go to the Caesars hotel site and compare they only show "Forum classic" and they sound a LOT like Roman tower rooms.

And the ones that don't say Forum classic are the smoking rooms, which were the ones actually in the forum tower. Goodness, what a mess.

I'm going to stick with only booking Caesars when I can get Palace tower or above.

I think they've gotten it more screwed up than it was before.

One of the problem with the last iteration was that it implied the whole Roman Tower was non-smoking and the whole Forum Tower was smoking, and there's just no way.

You kinda could at least tell from the detailed room descriptions - the Roman Tower room descriptions referred to Jay Sarno.

You might be able to tell by the SF, Roman Tower rooms are ~350 and Forum are ~450. But the pictures in the detailed windows don't match now either, so it's actually gotten worse unless you trust the text of the details but not the pictures. And if so, they're slapping the word "Forum" on Roman Tower rooms, which makes no sense.

Either their descriptions are often, or the mislabelling as "Forum" is intentional, which would be sneaky.

The 'Forum Classic' rooms don't say Forum Tower, they just have Forum in their name. The description of them sounds like Roman (sq ft, tub/shower)
