    My Trip Report

Well it is finally here.after neck and back physical therapy and eye surgery for glaucoma and cataract I need a break and so does my hubby who has taken great care of me. We leave tomorrow morning 1st class for Vegas. Rented a car from Alamo and then off to the Plaza for a week. Early check in is free and then I will meet withVMBer, Blackjack Lady.
Some friends,P&J flew in yesterday, P&E flew in today, we go tomorrow, and BIL & SIL, R&P go on Tues.Mon,P&J invited us to breakfast at the Bellagio and a swim. At night, dinner with P&E at the mirage- bogo at Carnegie Deli (myvegas), and then off to see Terry Fator with hubby (myvegas-bogo premium ticket). Hopefully we will fit some gambling in. More on the week to come.

Had a great flight into Vegas on United in first class. Food was terrible though-spicy
Chicken . Checked into the Plaza and proceeded to the Golden Nugget to play
Poker. Got 4queens and it paid a bonus of 100 dollars. We met Black Jack Lady and hubby for dinner at Magnolia's (ACG- 2/1). Enjoyed our visit. Played more poker and gave some money back. Some strange sights on Fremont St-like the big girl with no top on and her nips covered in duct tape!

    Monday
Had breakfast(2/1ACG) at magnolia's. Drove to Bellagio to join P&J at their pool. It is gorgeous there. Went over to the Mirage to get 2/1sandwiches certificate at Carnegie Deli thanks to my Vegas. Also picked up premium tickets for Terry Fator tonight, 1free through my Vegas. Played some poker at Golden Nugget and then back to the strip. We met P &E to share 2 sandwiches, fries & 2 sodas for 25 a couple. Good deal. You now have to order and pay up front, pick your own table, and someone brings your food. Next off to Terry Fator one of the highlights of our trip. He was fantastic. Not only is he a great ventriloquist and comedian but a terrific singer as well. One of the best shows ever. Hubby got a straight flush for $540 at poker. Hooray!

    9/20-9/26 day 3

    Day 3
Used another BOGO (ACG) for golden nugget buffet. Waitress was grumpy and not nice but food was good. Used comps from poker so meal was free. Picked up R& P and brought them to their hotel- Paris. Hubby got a straight flush at poker and won $540. Of course I lost. Went to the Bellagio at night to use our my Vegas for 1 free buffet meal.We met up with our friends who also had coupons and the 8 of us had a nice dinner together. 6 of us took a picture for our newspaper back home's travel page. Went back toGN for more poker- we have become degenerates at the 2/4 limit table
    day 4
Magnolia's for, breakfast (ACG) and then off to poker. We even called ahead to put our names on the list. Forgot to mention I did play slots during breaks at GN and at the Plaza.
We picked up R & P to do a run of free play and match play from our American Casino Guide books. We put $50 each couple in a change purse and off we went. Ellis,Tuscany,Orleans,Gold Coast,palms-then downtown-plaza,d,downtown grand. We counted up and won $140 a couple but were exhausted! It was fun but crazy too. 2years ago we won $200 a couple. We also used poker coupons to get $60- worth of chips for $50'(ACG) Ate at Magnolis-ACG and dropped them off at the strip. Surprise-no poker- too tired!
    See report-Busy Trip for days 1 & 2.

    Last days of sept trip

    Day 5

Did our usual poker after breakfast. Then the highlight of our trip to Vegas. About 4 or 5 years ago I found out that my kindergarten teacher retired to Vegas and we visit her every trip. She is in her mid 90's and has a great memory. Mrs. T is in an independent living home a block from Red Rock casino. She has a 2 bedroom apt and a full time aide with her. It is a beautiful facility. After teaching she became an assistant superintendent and in charge of the high school I graduated from and taught in so she knows a
Lot of people I knew. We enjoy our visits every year.
For dinner hubby and I and R and P got buffet of buffet passes. After using comps it only cost us $30 for,the 2of,is. We ate at Paris,. Food, was, very, good, service, great, with Roxanne who we knew from last year

    Day6

Ate at Paris for breakfast and dinner, played slots and poker. Got another bonus for quads at poker-$105
    Sat
Checked out- $120 for 6 nights, ate breakfast and dinner at GN. Food cost about $170 for the week and we came out a couple of hundred for the week. All in all a fun trip.
