    Heynow Gamblers..... :):):)

I have a couple things left on my Vegas Bucket List, luckily I have done so many things over the years that I really do only have a couple things..... at this point, our favorite city is always adding more things for me to want to see though

    A little background..

I went to Washington State University a hundred years ago and started off in Hotel & Restaurant Management but ended up changing degrees to Design, but my interest has always remained in massive hotel/ resort management. I was actually headed to UNLV for a semester before I changed. UNLV is THE hotel school. I am still fascinated by how a Vegas sized resort so large is run, laundry, Food and Beverage, Facilities, Housekeeping, etc etc ......it's such a massive organism.

The other thing is my hobby is stage lighting and sound so that is something that Vegas does in a big way

Anyway...... the two things I still would like to do I have no idea if they are doable or feasible. I am a regular Vegas visitor, and a CET member but a super low roller so I have no host juice or any casino connection. Does anyone have an idea how I might get a quick insider tour of either of the following? Contact HR, PR, or just understand this is not something they want people to have access to.

    1) I would love to see any working area in one of the big resorts, obviously not any of the money counting areas or gambling stuff, but laundry, or shipping and receiving, convention services, or heck.....even the garbage and recycling.

    2) Any way to see one of the giant Haakasan type clubs during the day, the sound and light systems must be massive and amazing. There is no way I would get in as an old guy at night ( plus not really interested) , but I think I would really appreciate the speaker layout, lighting, and laser array setups when the club was closed.....no need for table service :):):)

    Thanks everyone for any insight.

    Rusty

Dont know about Hakkasan but I think I read where KA is doing like a backstage tour thing during the day. That might be up your alley :)

When I first started this gig many moons ago we got a behind-the-scenes tour of MGM Grand. It's amazing what goes on, the infrastructure.
