Thanks Diana! I really enjoyed playing Gremlins at Aria in August. Hopefully our vegas paths will cross again soon.

Great report again Diana! I really can't believe all the different selection of slots you manage to get through in just a short 2 day trip! So many that you played I didn't even notice on the floor, haha!! Sorry that they weren't a little more kind this trip!

It was fantastic to finally meet up with you! Looking forward to getting together in November and hope we can get the chance to play some slots together! Enjoy G2E- I looked into going for those dates but couldn't pull it off- will rely on your trip report to see what I missed!

    Cheers!

Great trip report Diana, even though it was only two days, it seemed like you did a lot! And met up with so many people!! Sorry the trip wasn't a winner but there's always next time.
I'm now going in December instead of Feb, so hoping our dates coincide. I'm actually trying out Palazzo for the first time instead of my beloved Wynn, and I'm really excited to try somewhere new.

hi Pebbles, nice to hear from you! It was great meeting you earlier this year at Cosmo. :)

Kathy, same here, it's been too long since our paths have crossed! I'm glad Gremlins is at Aria, I can see me giving it a bit more play this upcoming trip.

I'm counting on November to work out for both of us to play slots together!

I originally missed a few of those new slots too, but fortunately Nick and Bill found and pointed me to them. Hmmm, perhaps not all that fortunate for me since it was a losing trip, hehe.

Sorry you couldn't make the dates for g2e, perhaps next year it will work out. I really like trying out the new slots for free before they are released and I start losing on them. ;)

I read on the other board you were going in December and I'm sad our dates don't match again but I'm hoping you do a live trip report so I can follow along. I'll be going the end of the month for NYE if everything goes as planned. You will have a great trip in December, I just love seeing all those Xmas decorations and I also think you will enjoy staying at Palazzo.

Thanks that's always great to hear. :)

Thanks! I feel I'm way overdue for a big winning trip. I broke even at Aria in May, perhaps this time will be the trip that makes me a winner again!

My husband doesn't understand my love of watching slot videos. I really enjoyed your BBT videos; can't wait to give it a try. I was excited about Ellen slots prior to my May trip, but sadly she wasn't kind to me and I gave her lots of chances.

    See you later this month!

Evoni, your reports are always such an enjoyable read!

I was also at V/P for the Grazie shopping event. It took me awhile to notice the offer printed on the VIP room keys to get a free glass of sparkling wine. I never did go to the bar to get it, but, combined with the 20% off coupon for Morels in the room, I wonder if they're hurting for business. Compared to Bouchon, Tao, and Delmonico, where I also ate this trip, Morels was less busy. I've had nice dinners there, and do enjoy going there for breakfast each trip.

I played a lot of Sky Rider this trip. I liked Dragon Spin too. I got quite a few bonuses on the Big Bang Theory, but agree with you that they never paid well. I thought I had played Gremlins, but not realizing there was a separate Gizmo slot, now I'm not sure which one I played! I actually did well on the new Sons of Anarchy, which surprised me since I have yet to do anything on the Walking Dead slot, even though it's been good to you. Did you try the new Elvis slot near the Gold lounge?

Looking forward to your Michael Mina review. Thanks again for sharing your trip!

Thanks! Hope to meet you in November too. When it gets closer to November PM me the dates you will be at V/P and we'll see if our dates coincide and we can meet up. :)

Mine was great, I would order Illumination again. If you play VP I believe they still comp cocktails at the Laguna Champagne Bar.

Ellen has been a bust for me too and I've tried that darn slot a number of times, but I finally threw in the towel and gave up on it. See you soon at Cosmo!

Glad you liked it and if you are having another long stay next year in Vegas I'm sure will have some dates that match up again. :)

Thanks Nicky! I've never eaten at Morels but it wouldn't surprise me if they are hurting for business. There's going to be a lot of renovations going on next year at Palazzo both to the casino floor and with a couple restaurants. Of course there's always restaurants moving in and out but Zines Noodles is finally closing up or so I was told around the end of the year. Also the Palazzo rooms will be renovated starting next year.

Hope Sky Rider treated you well. I did okay with it this last trip but nothing outstanding . I kept walking past that new Elvis slot with the wheel on top and for some reason never tried it, not sure why. I regret it now because I've had a few requests for videos on it. Did you play it and like it? So far Sons of Anarchy is cold as ice to me, funny how one just can't win on certain slots, glad you got some action on it!

I knew about the Palazzo room renovations, but hadn't known about other changes until this trip. I didn't know anything about Zine closing. I just heard the new V/P President was going over budgets and Palazzo plans following the Venetian room updates, and he wants to make changes around the casino floor, including the parking garage elevators. Should be an interesting 2016!

I played the Elvis slot twice, briefly, and did terrible on it both times. There was a woman who played it steadily during my trip. She must have put hundreds, and hundreds, into one machine. When I was playing close by, I did get to hear Elvis shake, rattle, and roll a few times. ; )

Evoni - Your renovation info. was spot on! I saw that Zine closed last week. The V/P website says that in November it will reopen as Hong Kong Café, so it will retain its Asian theme.

Nicky, thanks for letting me know. I have friends that loved Zine but it was never one of my favorites so I'm hoping I like Hong Kong Cafe better. Next time I talk to my friend who works in the hotel management side of Palazzo, I'll see if I can get more details and this time take notes so I can remember them better, LOL!
