    My Trip Report

I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon for another 3 - night trip to Vegas! I have nothing left to do today at work, so I figured I'd start a pre-trip report.

This time the offer is at Mandalay Bay:
    3 nights
    $125 FP
    $700 F&B
    Limo to/from airport

As most know, I travel to Vegas alone. I'm planning on making sure I manage to get through that $700.

    Here's the plan:
I need 107675 tier credits to remain Platinum as this is only my 2nd trip to Vegas this year. Last trip I got 90000+ tier credits with just over 29k coin in which is pretty pathetic. That's because I did most of the heavy gambling at Cosmo, not at mlife properties. I figure if I stick to mlife only this time I should have no problem hitting Platinum.

    Food plan:

Arrive 6pm - take a bud light from mini bar ($8) eat dinner at RM Seafood - large sashimi plate, cucumber Salas and a futo-fireball roll with tangerine honey cocktail. That should use up a bit over $100.

Sunday morning, try the new brunch at Fleur. Fleur tasting for $28 is omelet, short rib benedict, red velvet pancake and crispy potatoes! Plus a cocktail or 2, that should come to about $65.

Sunday afternoon, I might try to get over to Lago that's now open for lunch. The summer squash puree, ginger, spicy croutons soup looks good as does the spinach ricotta stuffed chicken breast with mashed potatoes. That plus a few cocktails comes to about $65.

Then I'm meeting up with a VMBer at Cosmo and want to try the Verbena cocktail. I also have $175 FP to use there.

So, I'm up to $240 used of $700. Not sure where I'll eat dinner, but I enjoy the Lemongrass tasting menu at Aria. It's only $49, plus 3 cocktails comes to about $100.

I may end up at dinner somewhere else, and paid for by someone else, but that's still TBD.

Figure I'll be exhausted on Monday and will do room service American breakfast which usually comes to about $45 at most.

I forgot to add in a few mojitos at Petrossian at Bellagio. $35.

So on my, last night in vegas, I'll still have $280 to spend. I really want to do the Joel Robuchon l'atelier degustation de saison menu, but I'm not sure they let a solo diner do that. Anyone know? If I could get it, along with wine, that should take me pretty close to $700!

Anyways, the best laid plans in Vegas rarely materialize for me. So, this is just best - case scenario.

And somewhere between all the eating and drinking there will be plentiful amounts of slotting at mlife properties along with jackpots, galore!

Good luck! Looking forward to lots of slot porn. Try Kitty Glitter in the MB high limit slot room. I did very well on it on my July trip.
