    This is the offer:

    ******************
Nice to hear from you and we’d love to host you in ________________. Right now I can offer:

    5 nights comp in a Grand Suite - https://reservations.stratospherehotel.com/en/bookings/55e4bf4342a7848f7d001a0b/hotels/LASSTR/rooms?currency=USD
    $50 in dining credits
Limo pick up from the airport if needed
    VIP Check in
    *******************
Our play at Stratosphere was limited to one evening. We went there to eat at the "Top of The World" and spent 4-5 hours gambling. Lost some on slots; won some on craps...walked away about $500-$700 up and some decent sized bets on the press. We got a call the next day from a host asking if we needed a room that night...but we were already at the airport to head home.

Now we are planning our two trips for the next 12 months or so. We are looking at Tropicana/PHo for one of them and trying to figure out the other one. That's where you come in. I'd like to hear the thoughts of those who frequent the Stratosphere and a bit of info about how they are with offers. Our gambling budget is about $5,000 but we do tend to play in a lot places; so it is not concentrated in one place.

I regularly have offers from Golden Gate, The D, Tropicana, and some CET stuff. All mostly three nights. Mirage, maybe two nights. Aria, where we have stayed lately, one night at best (usually only a discounted rate).

Thanks in advance for your input in the discussion.

I've stayed there a few times over the last 12 months. After my first night of gambling I was given a casino host too. Offers have always been free nights and freeplay ranging from $75-$200 and my gambling budget is around $2k for 4 nights. Rooms are ok but outdated, even the newer rooms in the Select Tower. The biggest issue I had with the rooms is the A/C unit. It didn't work well at all and adjusting the thermostat doesn't help. I've stayed there 3 times and it's always that way, not just one particular room.

I've had a really hard time getting anything going there on slots, blew through $400 quick with minimal coin in. They have treated me right with a trip to the NASCAR race in March, rooms and a few comps but if you're used to strip casinos this is not one of them. I'd prefer to stay downtown than at The STRAT .

    Hi,
I personally like the Stratosphere. Why? I feel like I have a chance of winning there. The Grand Suites are nice though a little outdated but they have an ENORMOUS hot tub (perhaps this is just in some of them). Also, there is the 107 Lounge on the 107th Floor -- a wonderful Happy Hour there every night 4 to 7pm. As a local Las Vegan, I will tell you not to walk around at night outside the casino -- take a taxi to move around the Strip. But I like the casino and you rack up food credit very quickly in their program.

I have made the reservation for this trip...I have this one set and I am still waiting to finalize one before it...from the host:

5 nights comp in a Grand Suite
    No resort fee
I will ask for a high floor strip view but please also ask upon check in

I did ask about my theo/avg bet and this is what they came back to me with:

5.8 hours of table play, 213 theo
2.8 hours of slot play, 210 theo

It looks like they credited me for an hour or so more than I played--I took some long "breaks" and they must have kept it going. My wife (slot play) was not winning so she was off the machines a lot...
