Are there any chill jazz or big band type of bars/lounges on the strip? I think Cosmo used to have something like that at the Chandelier bar?

I have seen big band at Chandelier. And it was awesome. I wish I knew the schedule (if it is one).

I would love to have that old school vibe again. Bring back the jazz vocals.

Thank you for this, sounds fun but we were looking for something more like a lounge with a live band where we could sit and relax and have a few drinks. It's me and my BFF, both in our late 30s and my mom in her late 60s.

Stardust used to have a great lounge with live band music, boy do I miss that place!

Check out Tuscanny Suites, free live music every night; jazz, piano bar, Frank, and other rotating shows. Great mixology with prices usually less than $10.

We really enjoyed Micheal Monge at Eastside Lounge at Encore (I'm 40, husband is 34 and this was the highlight of the trip for him). It's a comfortable space, he sings "lounge" songs that you'll probably know (and you can make requests) but you'll still be able to talk to each other as well. I believe it was a $10.00 cover and 2 drink minimum. I will definitely be putting this on my must do list every trip.

Like paperposter, I also highly recommend the Sinatra show at the Pallazo - it was the highlight for me (my husband didn't go). http://www.venetian.com/entertainment/shows/frank.html

Yes - there's a good rotation of solo and small group Jazz/Blues singers at Tuscany Suites. There's a calendar/schedule online at their site under "Entertainment." All the small stages are set up lounge style.

Another good one is Blvd Cocktail at The Linq. Again, a lounge style set up inside. Weather permitting, they open up the stage to the outside patio area fronting The Linq.
