Hi, I'm looking to plan a long weekend in Vegas the 1st weekend in December. I don't have any offers yet for Dec on my Tr page. just wondering if anyone has received any offers yet for late this year. Any idea when they'll start running them out there? Maybe early September? Thanks for any info! On a side note, December is one of the couple of months that I've never been to Vegas. What to expect? Slow? Good Christmas scenes? Any better offers from other times of the year? Again thanks a lot!

Hey chess, sorry I wasnt a bit more specific. Like you I've got free rooms as well at Cet. I meant offers that include something else with compd rooms. Like free play, gift card, dining credit etc. I'll see you at the tables on the 4th

We have one of those "Stay with us and you also get" room & food/freeplay offers, a Great Gift wrapup event, and a slot tournament in December in LasVegas.

We are both diamond, and usually stay at Harrah's because they know us there, they frequently upgrade us, and they have the best diamond lounge. Paris is a distant second choice. We play video poker only. Since they lowered the VP payouts we have had very good luck (go figure).

In my opinion it is way too early to book for December.

Things to do in December in Las Vegas:

Take the shuttle from Harrah's to Sam's Town to see the Christmas show in the atrium. Be sure to watch the bear when he sings "Blue Christmas." Funny. This show is Much better in the evening (plan ahead and check the shuttle times, to get back to the strip on the last shuttle). Sit at the Ram's Head bar or tables for the best view.

Generally, I don't think offers come in much before 2 months out. I only have offers through October right now. The exception is a Nov and Dec GGWU. Last year CET wouldn't let you book an offer like free play during GGWU. Your dates hit the December GGWU.

What newmans said is correct. That is the week of the GGWU . For some unknown reason, CET will not let you book other offers during that time period. Your option would be to watch for and book for offers the weekend ahead.
I do not quite understand the logic behind why CET is restricting offer redemption during that period . As far as I know, the event is open to all player card holders, whether or not you are staying at one of their properties or not. You would think they would allow you to redeem on other offers , so as to ensure that you stay at their property. Are there other perks for booking under the GGWU offer that I don't know about?

I've read about people that came in on the last day of GGWU and were able to book an offer as well.

LOL--I know, everyone continues to b*tch about CET VP paytables. Last month I deliberately tried to play at Mirage...HA. My money lasts MUCH longer at CET properties... and when you $ lasts longer, you are more likely to hit! Every Royal Flush/4As (DDB) I have hit in Vegas has been bartop! (Ballys & Rios sportsbooks & OSheas). Didn't win big last month but won medium pots consistently--love that, keeps me playing!

The only other casino where I see that consistent payback to keep me playing is Venetian, at the Bourbon Room (bartop--8/5 JOB, actually not bad). Both in June & July played for HOURS on $100.

We are going that first weekend for the JA Suite Holidays Event. We are almost always comped at several properties S-TH, rarely weekends. But $8/nt at Flamingo fit the bill. Not a huge fan, gonna try the $20 trick to upgrade to GO room. No biggie, rarely in our room.

The first week/weekend in December isn't just the GGWU. It's the National Finals Rodeo. Good luck getting rooms ANYWHERE during that week. They even have special suitcases for their many pairs of boots.

I am already booked for January! But that's because I wanted a suite at the linq, which there are not a ton of, and it's NFL playoffs so I was afraid of things filling up / going up in price. I had no offers in January but my host has never had an issue adding an offer on to an already booked room.

Plus it's always easier to be excited about a future trip when everything is booked. It feels more set in stone!

We usually book this same way ( room and airfare few months in advance and offer a lot closer to actual trip date through host ).

So did I, but it's only $150 free play and $150 resort credit. Even after the cut from $700 free play to $400 free play offers earlier this year these loyalty offers were still $400 free play and $150 resort credit. They've cut me even further.

I'm over CET. Sick to death of how they're treating players now and pissed off at myself completely for getting to 7 Stars tier yet again this year already. What a waste.

+1. Only difference for me is that my offer was $100 resort credit and $100 in free play. When I think of the play I have given CET this year . . . Yes, I'm already 7 Stars too.

But, I am leaving for Vegas on Thursday for 6 days and have booked two CET offers with two days in between. First is for a slot tournament and the second booking is for a birthday offer ($400 Free Play and $300 in reward credits, which I hope to convert to $240 in free play). Will be staying at Encore in between the two stays. I won't stiff CET but I'm not going to worry about ADT etc. at all anymore as it doesn't seem to matter much. I'll take full advantage of Qua, the 25% spa discount, Diamond shows, lounges etc. but I will focus my play at Wynncore and through coupon runs.

    Thats all you got!?!?

I'm diamond with 20,000 Tier Credits over two trips this year, my offer was $100 in Freeplay and $50 resort credit....only $50 total less than yours.

With that said, that's the best offer I've ever had from them (this is my first time being diamond)

I'm blown away that that's all you got, Flowers. I know you play a lot of slots, so you should have a good ADT and MDV.

I AM surprised that you got a $400 free play and $300 reward credit birthday offer for Vegas, though! My Vegas birthday offer is for $150 reward credits (joke) -- I got the same $400/$300 offer you got, but it's for Rincon. I haven't played at Rincon since last September when I took my then birthday offer of $700 free play and $300 reward credits (and combined it with $245 free play & food from another offer AND $125 mystery free play). I did $78k coin in on VP that trip and this year my birthday offer is less?

I'm just disgusted with CET this year. I wasn't going to go for 7 Stars again, but I continued to play the first quarter because my offers were still $700 and then I got the 25k tier bonus and then the 10k tier bonus, so I ended up too close not to finish it off. I didn't pay much attention to tier bonuses like I normally would have since I didn't plan on going for 7 Stars, either.

My offers now WHEN I get something with free play are $400 instead of $700 that they were prior to all the cuts, but I'm no longer even GETTING the regular monthly free play booster offers at all anymore. I did just get a loyalty offer in the Total Rewards magazine for $400 free play and $100 food credit, but those are quarterly and I go to Vegas once or twice a month (twice a month lately).

I did get $500 free play in lieu of my $1200 airfare for my 7 Stars trip (just did that during the 7 Stars Signature Event earlier this month). I thought that was pretty cheap of them, though. Last year, I got $500 free play in lieu of my diamond aspirations $750 airfare!

    Here's my play this year:

    2015
    1-23 5197 tier (10k bonus) $51,970 coin in lost $5k PH $700FP & 5k GGWU pts + $125FP from fees

Yep. That's what I got. I just checked the $100 + 100 offer and it is for October, not for 2016 but anyway, still sucks, and like you Mare I'm not getting the booster offers anymore. It's usually a gift card or slot play or some other similar offer and my max seems to be $300 to your $400 or $450. My AC birthday offer was only 5,000 RC or $50 (still not applied to my account from almost 10 days ago) but my Vegas offer was the $400 Free play/$300 in RCs so maybe the casino where you play more frequently is the lower offer and the one you play less frequently is the higher offer? Anyway, I'm happy about the Vegas birthday offer at least. That plus an offer from Wynncore for 3 comped nights and $500 in free play (that's with giving Wynncore LESS in play than CET in late June/early July) + a good airfare and trip was ready to go! I'm hoping I can do well in the Cromwell tourney, which is this weekend. There's no free play that comes with booking the tourney but there are a lot of free play prizes so hopefully I win at least a few hundred in free play.

+1 for no longer getting a booster. The last booster I received was for July and August. I never get the TR magazine and no loyalty bonus.
My best September offer was the same as cjohnson, 100 and 50.......I'm 7 Stars (I know that tier level does not drive offers). My play is the same as last year. My ADT is down slightly since CET has changed how they calc a gaming day. If you stay 4 nights comped, you generate 5 gaming days......regardless if you play or have a comp meal on checkout day.
I would prefer gift cards. Most of my offers are for concerts. I could care less about concerts. My host comps tickets for any concert I want to see. I also don't care about resort credits as I'm fully comped on the backend. Asian marketing operates differently from domestic. My offers from Asian marketing are at the same level as last year.
