I’ve never been a believer that you have to save hundreds of dollars when you buy a coupon book, and I’ve been getting the ACG for years since it’s cheap, and because I get free credit for Amazon, and therefore don’t pay out of pocket to get the book. All that said, I’m at the point where I’m about to stop ordering the book, even if I could get it in January for $9.48, delivered, without spending cash out of pocket.

I can’t be the only one.

I've never seen much value for us in ordering it because my wife and I have never rented a car in Vegas so we are generally on the strip though sometimes downtown and many of the value coupons seem to be off-strip. However, we have been trying to get to Ellis Island the last couple trips (and failed) so I just ordered one to use as a motivator in December.

That’s one of the reasons I have lost interest in ACG. It had better coupon offers years ago. Ellis Island still has good coupons in the LVA, thankfully. But if the ACG is the motivation to get to Ellis Island, enjoy a cheap beer and behold the marvel that is EI.

I got mine on overstock for about $13 or so this year. For me it pays for itself when staying at MGM - we use the Nathans, and Chicken Tenders. But the portions are so huge we could never eat it all. So, next time I may forgo the ACG and my husband and I can split a meal -- It all depends on what the 2016 coupons will be. I used to get the LVA book too -- that has also declined over the last couple of years.

Not a surprise as there are now only 3 months to use the coupons

You are not alone - I bought the book for 4 years in a row - went to LV every one of those 4 years and used 2 coupons. Never again. Great book w/ some value- don't get me wrong - but not for me.

I only bought into the LVA a couple of years ago, so my basis for comparison isn't as good. All I know is I regretted the fact that I hadn't signed on sooner, and I easily score double the value out of the book without any significant effort, so that book is still a win for me.
