I understand that the Rio shuttle drops off at Bally's entrance on Flamingo. Does anyone know how far a walk it is to Paris buffet. Going with 84 y.o. mother with problem walking long distances. Walking across the casino is not a problem, but walking through two might be. Thanks.

Go in the doors and you are in a/c. Plenty of places to sit between the drop-off and the buffet when needed. It is closer to Bally's than the actual casino at Paris. Good for her to go with you at that age. Have fun and good luck!!

Glad to hear that its closer to Bally's. We'll just take our time and maybe play a little on the way. I'm very blessed. She's a young 84 but slowing down. Sometimes I have trouble keeping up with her. We go to Vegas once a year. Thanks.

That entrance is by the sports book which is at the end down by the food court in Bally's. You would go up the shopping area, up the escalator take a left in the casino and go right into the shopping mall between the properties and I believe the Paris buffet entrance is in that shopping area. It isn't a long walk through the casino but more of a walk through the shopping areas. I think combined it would equal about one walk through a casino.

It is not all that bad. It is a reasonably narrow casino floor to cross, and the buffet is in the shopping area connecting the properties.

Biggest concern would be that the faux-cobblestone floor in the paris shopping area is not the most comfortable surface for people who struggle to walk.

My wife and I take that shuttle regularly.

You'll get dropped off on Bally's North side. Go in the doors, turn right, and walk West until you see the big corridor on your left that connects Paris and Bally's. Take that corridor - and there you go.

Isn't the shuttle drop off at the door by the casino, not Down at the sports book and food court??

The shuttle drop off at Ballys from the Rio is NOT by the sports book entrance....the Rio/Ballys shuttle drop off area is in between the sports book entrance and the airport shuttle drop off area...you would walk back to this entrance to enter the casino...though the walk to the Paris buffet is not that far, keep in mind that the queue to enter the buffet can be significant...unless, you are Platinum or higher at CET properties and use that special line...

We're Platinum so we'll be using the special line.

Was sure exactly where you would enter but this shows the way from Ballys casino floor.

At 84, they will let you is use the Platinum line whether you have it or not. They let folks with health issues use VIP lines at the buffets.
