Packer’s first trip in 11 months to aria 8/21-8/24

Hello my VMb friends! Here we go again!

Yes, it has been 11 months or so since I last stayed at ARIA. This will not be a thorough/detailed report. There won’t be too many entries and pictures. There will be hopefully winning CHIP PORN. This is a quick trip, I really want to wait until broncofn, and I go together next month for a detailed TR. However, you never know how I feel at the time.

Over the past 4 years, I would go back and forth to Wynn and Aria staying at Wynn 6 times a year and Aria 4 give or take. I did that for a change of environment. Staying at the same place repeatedly can get old and the excitement kind of subsides. I did however get rooms at Aria for one night so I could play Shadow Creek. I would go register for the room, play craps for an hour to appease them and go back to Wynn. The next morning meet the limo at sky suites and go to Shadow. Did that maybe 3-4 times this year? The Wynn has been so perfect this year with golf, food, accommodations and I was having such a good time there that I didn’t want to go anywhere else. Then the craps thing happened so I said adios. Not for good but it is now second on my very short list. It really isn’t that the change in odds at craps upsets me. It’s that Steve Wynn is IMO being petty. (SW made this call nobody else) He is an innovator and always has treated his clients as if they were a guest in his own home. In the past, he never would have done something petty like this to his clients/friends. Take away from other sources that we as patrons wouldn’t see in plain sight. What is next? Enough of that.. Sorry.
So, Aria it is. I have 175k tc’s from my passing through and need a few more to remain platinum but that’s no big deal. I think I have 5k or so in EC’s which is good. BR will be 30k and CL if needed.

Traveling with me is my friend of many years “A”. He is an avid golfer and has a four handicap. He has never played golf in Vegas until last month with me and my other friends. So, first time at shadow. He also hasn’t ever stayed or been to the Aria. As a matter of fact, “A” has been to Vegas maybe five times in his life. He is a green chip player and can party with the best of them. We will have other friends from home there as well. I will also be hanging with Pleepleus for sure. Plee will be joining us for the show Friday night and im sure we will pull an all-nighter gambling and just being DEGENS..

Flying out of BUR tomorrow morning so there should be no delays as it is early and won’t be busy. I am pre board and TSA known traveler so it will be fast, easy and smooth.

We will be picked up by the Limo and staying in the Sky Suites. Already checked in by my host so room will be ready. Staying in a 2-bedroom Sky Suite. A little small but I am jaded, spoiled and now used to larger suites. Don’t get me wrong I appreciate everything I’m getting and it could be a lot worse. I am blessed.

After we put our stuff away, it is off to the craps table for my first one-hour session. Many drinks will start to be downed 45 minutes after I start playing. Maybe a little pool action after the first session. The only plans for Friday are Jersey Boys at 7pm. My seventh time I think and “A”s first. That’s why I’m going and no interesting headliners in town this weekend. No Britany for me as I can’t handle the fact she lip-syncs the whole show. I know her and see her every weekend anyway as her boys and my child play soccer in the same league and I’m the coach! Maybe I will ask for some lip sync action!

Saturday and Sunday will be Shadow Creek with Nate (If he is still in town) and hopefully pphold. No plans at all the rest of the trip. Meals will be at Aria mostly. Fine dining at night for sure!

To Do List

Win money.
Don’t chase losses.
Gambol a total of 10 hours min over three days.
Have a blast and enjoy every minute as the time will fly by.
Get drunk and maybe throw up.
Did I say have a blast?
Get 6 hours in a row of sleep in the Aria’s comfy beds.
I do want to get that FU gnome.
First hand pay from the sluts.
Need to go downtown to show “A” the sights.
Would like to check out pinball hall.
Want to see container park.
I have never been to the Mansion or whisky down and want to check both out.
Must go to shake shack and try it.
Will go visit Hunter and give him crap about his golf game.
A get-together with UK will happen!
Meeting other VMBers would be good. If nothing else, a handshake would be nice.
Oh, must walk to Cosmo to try a verbenia or whatever it’s called. Will go there at night so my friends can check out the eye candy.
I won’t be going to GEEZERS. Maybe forum shops as a store there has a piece of memorabilia I own and I’m curious to see what it is selling for.

Need all the positive vibes I can get as the variance is catching up.

Never know what happens as it is VEGAS BABY isn’t it? Thank you for following.
