Hello - I'll be staying at PH and have reward credits and would like to possibly use them for food options. Am I limited to restaurants that accept reward credits, or can I use anywhere at a CET property restaurant and charge it to my room. I am specifically interested in Mon Ami Gabi and Eiffel Tower Restaurant. Any other recommendations (outside of a steakhouse) on where we should use our credits?

Don't know about the Eiffel tower, but Mon Ami Gabi does not accept TR credits directly.
You can go the TR booth and get a voucher for x amount to be used toward dinner.

I did this last trip. Works great, just get a voucher for less than the bill( a guess). I don't think the extra goes back on your card.

Thanks for the quick answers. That seems like an easy option. Is it possible to charge the bill to the room at any Caesars property while staying at Planet Hollywood?

You should be able to charge to your room.

I think you can only charge PH restaurants to your PH room- not, say a Caesar's restaurant to your PH room.

While staying at a CET property, you can do a room charge at any CET restaurant, regardless of what property it's at.

Recent examples I've done that come to mind (all while staying at Bally's):

Mon Ami and Ramsay steak at Paris
    Strip House at PH
    Martarano's at Rio
    Rao's at Caesars

EDIT: wanted to add that it's not just restaurants either. When walking around different properties but not gambling, I'll stop at gift shop for a tall beer and charge to my room.

REALLY? That's interesting. So you tell the restaurant at Caesar's you're staying in room xyz at the Flamingo and you're good to go? I imagine they want proof or does the TR card swipe tell them everything? That actually would really make life simple!

I don't think I can stay at Paris, eat at CP Mesa as an example and have them charge it to my Paris room.

Yes I am almost certain you can do this easily. Same thing with MGM properties as well - you can charge a restaurant at Aria to your room at Bellagio.

That said if you are paying with reward credits it is actually better to do that at the restaurant directly. They won't charge sales tax on the food paid for with reward credits - so if you do it at the restaurant you save the sales tax. That won't happen if you charge the meal to your room and then pay with reward credits at check out.

They have done cross property room charges for years now. We always charge back to the room as long as the restaurant is at a Caesars property. It's easy and simple, plus if you have a host it makes things more straight forward with comps. If you have a voucher or TR coupon to use, just have it applied first then charge the remainder to your room.

Just keep in mind that some restaurants are not tied into the CET system. For instance, the ones in Forum Shoppes and Miracle Mile do not take RCs. Always be sure to check first.

Ain't THAT the truth! I wanted to eat a light lunch because we were going to Fieri's that evening, so we went to this small joint attached to Caesar's in AC. Much to my dismay when I gave them my card I was told they didn't accept them! ARGH- an eatery attached to Caesar's! Moral: ask first if this matters to you, as it did to me!

The total rewards website has a list of restaurants that takes RCs. I've found that if they take RCs they will allow room charges. There's always the possibility of exceptions, so I always ask like you suggest.
