    My Trip Report

So many good trip reports, I feel obligated. Tanner, Suoerpockey, PP! pleepus, etc., Thanks! I may let you all down because I'm a huge degenerate... We'll see what I can do, live, semi-live or nothing. Here's what's on tap:

    Driving from SD:

    Mirage 8/21
    Wynn 8/22-8/24

Me BIG drinker, 45, friend "c" 60, but he gets by. For an old fart...

I bring a HUGE cooler of craft brews, so that's how you'll identify me if you are in town. If you see someone with an interesting can of brew, or rolling a huge cooler through the casino, come up and say VMB.

Updates to follow... Or not. Like I said, I'm bad....

Also, I did buy an extra battery for my phone, so if you don't hear from me, I'm over the edge...

LOL Pretty much. San Diego makes some great beer!

If you run out of craft beers in your cooler, remember to hit up TAG lounge!

This is what the menu in July looked like (most, but not all, beers compable)...photos courtesy of grosx2:

Yeah it's quite good. Unlike Habenero Sculpin, that took me 2.5 hours to drink while mixing with other beer!! I probably should have drain poured that one, but I cringe at the thought!

But I like the original Sculpin the best, it helps that the original is compable at TAG Lounge, Venetian Sportsbook, M Resort 32 degree bar, and Cosmo Bond Bar at least. Will definitely be having it next week!

You did start it there I think. But they will move pre-TRs until the 24 hr. mark. They'll move it back to the TR section soon.

Yep. it works, looks like you're good to go. Remember pic of cooler! :evillaugh

Departure in three hours. Everything's packed except the cooler(s). That's right, I think I'll need two due to the huge amount of refreshments I'll be toting along... I'll take a cooler pick when I start packing it...

Forgot to mention... If I can keep the report up, I may have to go photo-only at some point. It's hard to type when you're gambling and can only see straight using one eye!

Good boy! Glad to hear you ascribe to the "there shall be no wasted alcohol" motto. And thanks for the warning re: habanero. The Grapefruit Sculpin runs about $52 a case or $14 a six pack back East, so when it's $4 a pint at Happy Hour, I'm all over it.

Was at a local craft bar awhile back and tried Bell's Kalamazoo Stout, this place is known for rotating taps. It was so good, I went back a couple nights later and low and behold it was still available, I ordered a pint. As I'm sitting and sipping, I notice the bartender is filling a pitcher with this lovely brew, he then proceeded to dump it as the keg was kicked. I let out an audible cry "what are you doing!!!" which turned more than a few head towards me. I guess you had to be there.

    Alcohol is very dangerous, Steve.

Come to think of it, so is driving North along wild-fire-blown I-15.

    Good God, be careful, man!

Nice beer choices! I can't wait to have some Swami IPA next week. That's also compable at TAG. That place is awesome! Good luck!
