    My Trip Report

Well, I can't sleep so I thought I'd leave you with some thoughts to ponder.

    - My 6 year old getting kicked out of the Carnival Court.

    - Playing an hour at a $100 Blackjack table at the Rio and getting $1 in comps.

    - Playing an hour at the Mirage at a $50 Blackjack table and getting $25 in comps.

    - Coast Casinos still have crazy Blackjack Rules.

    - Never order a "Suprise me drink" at the Bayou, let alone two...

    - Tim the bartender is still one great guy.

    - Having enough for a banana chip (bitches) and not being able to call it out.

    - Vegasbound is one cool chick.

    - If SanOnofreSurfer tells you that he sucks at craps, believe him.

    - Still can't roll in front of Mikey, but I'll gladly bet on his rolls any day of the week.

    - The 2 bedroom suite at the Mirage is awesome... If you have a chance, do it...

    - If you are sitting at a table with me and I slide you chips when I'm winning, just take them and smile!

    - Saw all the poker greats at the Rio. Greg Raymer tore the buffet up.

    - 109 doesn't seem that hot, until you step outside...

    - The Palms is still pretty lame, although the scenery makes up for some of the lameness.

    - Still looking for a Royal... got four to it twice and just couldn't fill it up. I think I quit...

Okay, back to sleep... A trip report soon!

So Angy has good company in getting tossed out of Carnival Court then? :haha:

I hear ya on not being able to call out a banana chip. I was in the same boat (would that be a banana boat?) this past weekend in Connecticut. I told them and told them that if they brought it to the table, I would play as long as it took to win it but nooooooo. And I was within $50 of getting it too. :grrr:

I could have told you what would happen when you two-fisted the grain train. In fact, I believe I *did* tell you :wink2:

    Nice comp.. a WHOLE buck!!

You can't sleep, Jer?....:evillaugh That's unusual isn't it? :evillaugh (again)
A buck? Are you kiddin' me? :grrr: Send a cheque for a $1.00 to Harrah’s Corporate Headquarters with a note...Thanks, but no thanks… keep your buck, it'll help your bottom lineâ€. Leave a classless move like that to Harrahs. Another example of the twisted mindset of this bunch.... that floors me...... a whole buck!! Maybe it's a Canadian buck...that would save them another 23% or so...jerks....:soapbox:
Ditto that for me...it just doesn't do anything for me.. I had more fun at the GC (Geritol Coast) across the street when looking for the group at MM2 in March. But like you said, lot's of hotties wandering around...and There Is Nothing Wrong With That!!
    You? Sleep? Yeah right...

But the Evil Empire lets you bank that $1 (100 bonus points) until next time. Just be sure to play (use your card somehow) every six months, else you will lose that $1 and any friends it has in your account.

So do they write you a comp slip at MGM/Mirage properties? I don't have a card with them, just Golden Nugget.

    Somehow I'm not surprised...
Wow, you subjected yourself to that kaleidoscope of colors again? Ouch!
Damn, Vegas Club! What do you mean no banana chips?!?
Thanks, and back at 'ya...well, except for the chick part.
Lessoned learned, but will always try to repay my debts.
    So, true!

Sounds like everyone had a good time. I have a question. What does a 6-year-old boy have to do to get knicked out of carnival court? I know what I did...well sorta...but come on. We need to hear this story.

As for the Palms, it's one of my favorite places. It took me a couple of trips to appreciate the place....at first I didn't like it at all. But since those first couple visits every time I go back I get really drunk, meet lots of nice people and win decent money playing blackjack. :D

Jer, you are right about Tim, I have known him for OVER 20 years and he has always been a great guy and a very good friend.[IMG]

After a similar experience at a Harrah's property in New Orleans this past April, I can completely relate (8 hours at a $25 pass line craps table for $12 in comps).

I know understand why some call Harrah's the evil empire. But it's even worse; its Sodom and Gemorrah...run away, and don't look back, lest you turn to stone..... :grrr:

Medusa's head turned you to stone. Turning and looking at Sodom turned Lot's wife to a pillar of salt......I may be a pagan heathen but I do remember some of my Biblical Lit class from college....:wink2:

    bj at rio..

I have never played at Harrahs because all of the tables were 6/5 and most were $25 minimums. Is Rio the same way?

15 minumum during the day, and it seemed like all $25+ at night. The $50 and $100 were not 6/5 but you cant double after the split.
