I've got a room booked at the Paris (Red Room High Floor). I got an email from TI for a buy one get one free. Sooooo, i could get a King Tower Suite for aboutt he same price I'm paying for the Paris.

For those that have stayed at both or either one, which Hote/Room combo would you go for?

TI not even close! The counch is bigger, the room is bigger, the shitter is bigger. I stayed in both before and the Red Room just seemed like a fluffed up version of a basic room. The Tower King is, IMHO, the better value. With that said it depends on if you are only looking for 1 room and resort to hang out at. I find the slots at TI much looser and the rewards program a better value than Paris. But i do love the look of Paris's casino. Neither one of them have a pool that will blow you away though. The dining options will go to Paris but the neighborhood would go to TI (V/P across the street, easy to get to Wynn/Encore and Mirage is a free tram ride next door. At Paris you are connected to Ballys (pretty dumpy) and next door to Planet Ho. You have Bellagio across the street but 1 Bellagio doesnt equal Wynn+Encore+Venetian+ Palazzo.

I've also stayed a both and think the rooms at TI are nicer but that's about the only edge I give it. Paris has a better location, a better casino atmosphere, better dining options & better entertainment.

If I were to choose TI it would be to get to my favorites (V/P; Wynn). I wouldn't do a lot on property at TI. I find the casino lacking, more than anything its the low ceilings, I find it claustrophobic. That may be a dumb thing to say, but I just can't get over how cramped the casino feels because of those ceilings.

I enjoy Paris' casino more, although I'm not a fan of the center trip location personally.

It was said above, but food is far better at Paris.

Admittedly, I have not stayed at either before, so cannot speak to the rooms.

I have stayed at Paris a couple of times (as well as spend most of my time there even when not staying there), and stayed at TI when it was Treasure Island with the Skull & Crossbones welcoming you.
    Viva la France!
Paris gives you more choices for everything. The rooms are purposely designed to give you a classic feel that you would get in Europe. That's the whole point.
    J'aime Paris.

For me, Paris. Never a bad experience in any aspect of the place.. Room, food, tables.

TI without a doubt, stay in a petite suite they are great and a bit cheaper than the king tower but it has 2 baths which is a great advantage.

Even though there are better onsite places to eat at Paris, the larger room at TI and two bathrooms seals the deal for me and the wife. Not to mention that TI is closer to places we like to hang and saves us either blisters or cab/bus rides.

After staying at both i would have to agree that TI is the better bet. Of all the resorts my wife and i have stayed at in Vegas the beds at TI are hands down the best. They are so nice in fact the wife is looking into getting some of the TI bedding for our bed at home.

True, Paris has more food options, but I don't like any French food (authentic or fake) so never ate there even when I stayed there.
I agree with others that TI's slots are looser than Paris'.

I have stayed at TI once and Paris 5 times, however I must agree with Darkace that the beds at TI are the best ( in Vegas). Wife and I still rave about how comfortable thier beds were. Everything else, casino, buffet, location ......goes to Paris. Not even close.

I would have to choose Paris mainly because of the location. We go to TI every trip but only so the wife can go to the Bling store.

Hard choice...I would normally say Paris but I am a sucker for a good price on a suite. I don't care for TI's casino or location. But given your parameters I would ( don't believe I'm saying this ) go with TI

You really can't go wrong with either. If the cost difference is substantial, you might want to switch to TI. To me it would come down to location and players club. To me both locations are great, but I spend a lot of my time at Total Rewards casinos to consolidate my play and comps.

TI tower suite is no comparison to a Red Room. Take TI. Now the rest of TI is becoming a shit hole from what Ruffin is doing to the place, but MGM spiffed up the rooms pretty nice.
Red Rooms at Paris are showing their age. The pool area at TI also edges out Paris slightly. The only thing Paris has going for it over TI is location and View if you can get a Fountain view room.

By my count the votes are 6-6 :)

At least now you know the pros and cons of both, ultimately the decision is yours, obviously, but depends on what's MOST important to you!

Thanks for all the info! Hmmm, I've decided to cancel the room at the Paris and book a room at the Travel Lodge - just kiddin'. Wow, I'm going to need to do some thinking!

Think about this, resort fee's are optional at TI, I haven't seen that mentioned yet.
