I do pretty much what whitejacket does. And, I'll add some Gateraid for the morning/afternoon after before I go out.

But, if you wake up with one, there's a service that'll come to your hotel to fix you up. http://www.hangoverheaven.com/
They'll hook you up to an IV and re-hydrate you. From the looks of it they'll either just go to your hotel, or up to your room.

What I find the best is:

Just before you go to bed, get a huge glass of wine, or whatever you are into the night of, and leave it on the dresser in your room (or bar fridge if it needs to be kept cold).
When u wake up in the morning, DRIVE it aboard of ya like there is no tomorrow, run your ass downstairs to the casino throw a few hundies in a machine and proceed to have about 3-4 more drinks before the wife gets up....BOOM...hangover gonzo! Rinse and repeat until you leave Vegas.....suck up the DT's on the plane ride home, and then check in to detox when u land!

A large glass of pedialyte before going to bed will do the trick guaranteed .

A hangover is dehydration, and for all the "sure-fire" remedies of folklore and supplement marketing, the body of non-anecdotal evidence shows that for all the B-complex additions and what not ... it is the liquid itself fueling the recovery. Hitting the can a couple times, eating a big cheddar-bacon omelet, simply getting up and moving around, all help in some way. But the real remedy is recovery time purging the system of the toxins as abetted through rehydration.

The best hangover cures are preventative.

By all means, get roaring drunk, but do it steadily over a long time period, getting plenty of water in between and making sure you eat regularly as well. Getting enough sleep helps too.

Do all that, and the hangover should be mild enough that typical "cures" are effective.

Is it a first hand experience if you are so black out drunk that all you know about what happened is based on stories other people told you (or, in this day and age, pictures/video on social media)?

When you get drunk and urinate, you're pissing away potassium, magnesium and water.

Keep eating bananas throughout the day, drink a couple of pedialytes (they come in small packets which are very convenient). I also load up on B complex because that's what they use to manage alcohol withdrawal symptoms.

If all else fails, take a taxi to hangover heaven and fork over $200 to feel 100% in about an hour.

I was out locally a few weeks ago and thought I would try the "drink a glass of water in between drinks and it'll rehydrate you for the morning after" tactic. I drank about four pints of water in the pub. Not only did it make fuck all difference, I also got mocked by my friends to boot.

Usually some really unhealthy food (i.e. McDonalds), along with water and a beer, does the trick for me.

Lol yeah ordering waters on repeat isn't the most "manly" thing ever. especially the tiny water bottles most casinos hand out. I like my Indian casinos where i can just walk to a self serve staion and get a pop or a water and just stand there and chug water till the cows coem home

On a serious note. I actually stumbled on a website a couple of days ago that suggested pears, as a cure for hangovers. I don't know, how true it might be.

    Ken is right...hydrating is key.

In my younger, binge drinking days. The surefire way of a hangover cure was very similar to GChromes. If you drink again...there is no hangover. I used to like that one the best. Maybe, it's a Canadian thing...lol.

Red Bull used to work for me as a hangover cure when it first came out, like 1997 in Northern CA. I swear it's not the same now. Now it's drink, water, alternate x 5, don't drink brown liquor, Advil, eat, water, water, sleep, shower, banana, red bull, water, toast, repeat.
