This past Sunday I had brunch at the Sterling Brunch at Ballys. I generally never step foot in Ballys but I will say that I had a great experience. While some might consider the price a bit steep at 85 per person I was not disappointed in the least. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the buffet spread, but it was set out in a very organized fashion and was loaded with excellent suggestions. When I walk through a normal buffet I will pass tons of dishes I would never try. Here I wanted to try about everything offered. I was dining solo and chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was awesome. The level of service was excellent and she had an awesome personality. I would highly recomend this to anyone looking for a nice brunch on a sunday morning.

I'm going there in August for my 7stars signature event. I can't wait to try it.

We are booking it for the middle of Sept as it is a must-do on our trips.

Love their pop-overs. Always eat a plate of crab claws and jumbo shrimp.

Love their antipasto cart and then I dig into the prime rib.

Their dessert bar is always wonderful. We were there Easter Sunday and they had tons of chocolate bunnies and large chocolate Easter eggs. Our waiter told Dh to take the giant bunny and he would wrap it in foil and put it in a shopping bag. The bunny made it all the way home to Boston. When we broke it open, it was filled with Jelly Bellys......So much for not removing food from the buffet!!

Do they still have the champagne for the buffet?

They did have champagne. The servers are all over it too. Your glass will never be empty. Once you get to about half full they will refill you.

LOL, I never knew Nueske's had a national reputation. Our normal breakfast restaurant has Nueske's bacon and ham choices with the eggs and hash browns. $8.50.

Thanks for posting this. I tend to do my trips solo and never really realized that there was a bar option at Sterling Brunch. I may have to try it out soon.

    Thanks for the review.
Anywhere else I could find more pictures from recent trips?
Most online seem to be fairly old.

I wouldn't vacation on my own anywhere else but Vegas. I love going to Vegas solo. I have dinner every night at a high end restaurant. I don't do room service or grab a sandwich just because I'm on my own.

This has been one of the highlights of our Vegas trips. We went three times before the changeover and once since and although we enjoyed the atmosphere before the change a bit better the quality of the food, the service and the nice champagne have been consistently great. I still think it's one of the best bargains for a great meal considering all this brunch offers.

What should a party of 2 tip since this isn't your typical buffet ?

I travel solo 3 out of 4 trips a year on average and enjoy it. I did the Brunch on a trip with my youngest son. That bar option sounds like a winner!

I don't actually tip any differently in a buffet than i do in a restaurant. Sure, I'm serving myself, but the buffet waiters/waitresses get a workout clearing my empty plates and refilling my drinks before i come back to my seat! Assuming they are moderately successful in that regard, i feel like 15% is appropriate for me to tip, though your mileage may vary.

Time doesn't wait for anyone. You have to do what you have to do. Besides, solo travel is pretty awesome especially going to Vegas. I can gamble all day and go eat whatever I want to eat and whenever I want.

    >>What time do most of you do the Brunch?

The brunch ends around 2pm. So go there at noon.
