We were blown away by the Aria buffet.

    • Crab legs : Really good. Meaty. Loved them.
    • Prime Rib: Perfection. Juicy and practically melted in my mouth.
    • Other red meat at carving station: Forget what type it was but might have been the best red meat I have eaten anywhere. No exaggeration.
    • Tandoori chicken: Best I have had anywhere. Just the right amount of spiciness.
    • Macaroni and cheese: A lot can go wrong with mac and cheese > Bad cheese, too salty, overcooked macaroni. Nothing wrong with this one. WOW!
    • Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. (at pasta station) : More perfection. Like mac and cheese a lot can go wrong with alfredo sauce. Best I have had.
    • Unpeeled shrimp: Best anywhere. Just the right size and tasty.
    • Chinese fried rice : Excellent. Light and not too greasy.
    • Mini potato medallions: Love these things. Located near mac and cheese.
    • Cheesecake: Love it.
    • Gourmet Hostess Suzy Q's: Can't believe how good these were. For those who are not familiar with Suzy Q's they are chocolate cake with white cream in the middle. The Aria buffet version had a whipped chocolate cream instead of the vanilla in the Hostess version. The cake is light and moist with chocolate sauce drizzled on top. When eating one it felt like I was biting into a cloud. I would have eaten 3 of these if I was not already full and in a food coma.
    • Gelato: Maybe the best I have eaten.
    • Mini cupcakes : I could have eaten 20 of them.
    • Chocolate chip cookie: Is there such a thing as a bad ccc?
    • Service: Best I have had at a buffet. At the carving station I asked for a thin slice of prime rib and other meat. The carver took the time to carefully give a thin slice. At other buffets they never take the same care. Same great service at pasta station. The chef gave me the exact amount I asked for.
Consistent with all their food was not too much salt or butter like at most restaurants. It felt like I was eating healthy.

    Reasonably priced too!

Don't forget about the naan - best in Vegas, anywhere. I'm with you on Aria - it's seemingly much healthier than other places, even the high enders like Wynn and Bellagio, that over-season the food.

Glad to hear the resident food expert agrees with me.

I wanted to try the naan but needed to save my carb allotment for the desserts.

JW, I had the same experience with the Aria Buffet,
Could be the most underrated Buffet in Vegas.
    The rack of Lamb Perfect
the prime rib, perfect and I usually hate prime rib
    the sausage Perfect
    the Chicken Perfect
the turkey perfect with that Gravy
the baby carrots were delicious as were the mashed potatoes
and I love the fact they are probably the only buffet with Hummus and baba ghanoughe

Based on your review I'm going to have to try the dinner buffet. We've had breakfast and lunch and have been very pleased with the selections. Looking forward to trying the dinner.

Thanks for taking the time to review!

I agree with the poster. We ate at the Aria buffet with the My Vegas 2 for 1 for a dinner buffet. Everything I ate was perfect. I had salmon as my protein and it literally melted in my mouth. The salad bar was unbelievable! Also, the variety was very good. The desserts were outstanding. We ate at 4 different buffets while in Vegas and Aria was at the top for me. Having the 2 for 1 was such a great deal!

We just tried the Aria dinner buffet this past Wednesday night and completely agree. In general, we don't like buffets but we enjoyed this one. Had the 2 free dinner buffet passes from MyVegas, so it was even better! Everything we had was very tasty, the layout didn't cause a lot of bottle necking, and the dining space was nice and airy. The peanut butter gelato was amazingly good.

The only problem we had was our waitress. It took forever for her to take away our plates and I never got a refill on my soda (and their glasses aren't that big). I don't know why she didn't think to ask if I wanted another when she asked hubby if he wanted another iced tea as mine was probably less than 1/3 full. I had to ask twice (which took a lot of time cuz we couldn't find her for at least 20 min at a time), then we finally just left cuz I saw her come out again with an empty tray when I was headed to the restroom. She seemed to be anomaly cuz I noticed other wait staff being much more attentive. I won't hold her against my review of the buffet. If it was a sit down restaurant though I wouldn't have been happy. We were curious if they had to pool their tips, because if they do, she was bringing everyone down.

Aria is my favorite buffet. We tried it because of MyVegas and it's become a favorite. Especially the crab legs. I'm from Maryland and we're serious about our crab lol.

Wow. Previously I had heard this buffet was not so good for folks.
It is my favorite in Vegas, but for different reasons.
I can find foods that are healthy, tasty, and that don't raise my blood sugar.

I love the place. Glad to see others like it as well.
Generally, I use MyVegas rewards to catch two buffets a trip.
