I know I'm in the minority, but there's nothing I enjoy more than after a night of fun, is just before I go up for the night, playing a little Keno with a Baileys and coffee. Ahh what a way to wind down. Anyone have a favorite Keno venue, either on the strip , off, or downtown?

I do take some time to play Keno. The lounge at 4Q is my fav. The waitress comes by quick. $5 about 30 mins I can down 3 or 4 beers in that time... sure HE sucks but I limit my losses. I usually only play 3 or 4 numbers.

I agree, it's a great way to relax/unwind. I'm a craps and blackjack player and those games are hectic. So I'll play some Keno if it's available for awhile between sessions. I used to also play Pai Gow poker since the pace is slow but I don't see many of those tables around anymore.

My all-time favorite Keno venue was Toucan Harry's at the Stardust!
....and their incredibly attractive Keno girls!

I haven't played Keno since those days...

I remember when every cafe in the casinos had it. It was kind of fun to play while you ate.

I played at the Stardust during it's last five years and they had a keno runner who had to be in her late 60's. She had the gams of a 20 year old. It was pretty amazing. I guess walking all day didn't do her any harm

Ah, the keno lounge at the Stardust. Great memories. :woohoo:

I'll play keno every once in a blue moon just to slow things up and have some drinks without worrying about losing too much.

The Orleans has/had a nice keno lounge with excellent cocktail service.

My main games I like is craps and video poker. I also enjoy live keno.
When I would be losing at everything I would go to the keno lounge to relax and something to drink. It was a good slow down the losses. In the mornings I would come down from the room to relax with a coffee, mark six numbers on a keno ticket. Bet $1.00 on one ticket, sip my coffee, plan the day, wait for my wife. A game might take 15 minutes to play out. A $4-$5 loss in an hour. I think winning three numbers returned my bet. I’ve hit many 3 out of 6, 4 out of 6, 5 out of 6, I’ve hit 6 out of 6 for $1500. I’ve hit 7 out of 7 for $5000.
7 years ago when my wife died, I gave up everything. I gave up the thought of ever returning to Vegas. It took awhile before I went to Mt. Airy casino.
I always enjoyed anything about live keno, I can‘t hit on keno machines.
My wife played VP and keno machines. Keno she played one quarter and a few hits of $375., $400. And $1700., once.
Anyone know if any casinos in Pa, AC, or Conn. Have a keno lounge?

I'd be shocked if PA had a keno lounge since casinos are new. Live keno has gradually lost popularity. Tunica got rid of all of theirs, Sam's Town being the last iirc.

Foxwoods still has it at least.

My regular routine when I stay on the strip is on the first day I go to ballys to play a 400 game 5 spot. I don't check back till the last day to see if any winners. 90% of the time I have small wins but about six years ago I managed a $1900 winner! No matter how bad my gambling goes, I always have in the back of my mind the thought of a big keno win to cash in before I leave for the airport. Lol

GF and I love to play while having breakfast. We play our birthdays as 2/3spot tickets, and 1/6

I've only been on ONE trip where we got shut out.

where do you play when you eat breakfast? It used to be at Harrahs, but then i think they closed it or moved it. Now i play at Flamingo cafe (if anyone can confirm it is still available).

I remember even the Bellagio had keno in the buffet in its early days. I never won (obviously) but it was a fun distraction while you ate, and was automatic for $5 in tips for the keno runner.
