I know I have seen the answer posted but can't seem to find it. I am search challenged today.

So we have a limo from the airport to Rio and want to stop for adult beverages to take to the room. Any suggestions on where to stop? I saw Gold Coast listed in the sticky thread. Is that as good as stopping in route? A couple specific bottles is what we are looking for but would settle for what GC has if that is the best choice.

    Thanks

It will surely be faster than anywhere else..I'd try calling the gift shop myself to see if they have what you need. Many times when staying at the Rio I have walked across the street to the GC because the Rio prices are kinda high.. GL

We always stop at Super Liquor on Tropicana, essentially across the street from the airport.
Coming out of the airport on Swenson, have the limo driver hang a left on Tropicana, it's just down a block on the right hand side.

Most limo drivers know this place.
    Good selection of liquor.

I often have the limo stop at the CVS at Harmon and Paradise enroute to the hotel. It's a quick stop to stock up.

Do you think they would have more special brands or should I have him stop at a liquor store? Looking for Flor de Cana Rum from Nicaruagua, Ciroc Peach, Makers Mark.

    Thanks

That CVS at Harmon and Paradise should have all three of those.

TIMSPEED is correct, though... Lee's Discount Liquor FTW.

Thanks so much for all the info. So I am thinking ask the limo driver to stop at lees or smiths on the way.. We are headed out for a cruise and planning our stash for the trip. In Vegas, booze is everywhere so this is new.

    So,,,,, thank you so much

I've never had a problem with a limo driver stopping. Technically your hour starts when your plane lands. But even if you have to get checked bags there is still plenty of time for a stop on the way to the Rio. And I've never had a "clock watcher" as a limo driver.

Thanks for the advice, we will definitely stop on the way. I have never asked but seems like many people do so we will too.

Looks like Super Liquor on Tropicana is an easy stop on the way and has what we want. Also they are open when we arrive.
