First time with a host, will he look at prior trips for back-end comps?

After my last trip I was assigned a host for the first time and I used him to book my upcoming trip. I am small time, free rooms and some small free play and/or resort credits but not a lot. Up until my last trip I never asked for charges to be cleared from my bill when I checked out. When I checked out on my last trip, I asked, and they cleared my charges. It was a whopping $45 or so. My actual loss for the trip was around $5k and theo was $2k. So the way I look at it, since I never asked to have charges taken care of on the back end I have lost out on anywhere from $0 to something more than $0. This trip I expect to have a lot more room charges so my question is will he consider the fact that, for the most part, I have never had any back end comps when he considers clearing my charges for this trip. Or am I basically starting from zero since it is my first trip with him?

    Thanks

    On the backend charges...
figure the room will come off that amount first...so Cromwell, weekend probably $100 per night.
After that, whatever your room charges are (food, etc) will go
Ohh, and if you're not Diamond+, resort fees go along with the room cost.

EDIT: No, he won't look at prior trips. He may be more LENIENT on THIS trip, because you've never used "discretionary" before..but most likely no more than 35% of THEO.
If you don't use "discretionary" per trip...loosers weepers.

Thanks I appreciate any input. Just trying to reconcile you statements "no, he won't look at prior trips" with "he may be more lenient...because you've never used..." Isn't it one or the other?

No the comps you left on the table last trip are gone.

Sorry, I meant he won't give you any comps you're "due" (in your mind; which I agree.)
HOWEVER, he could give you anywhere between 30-35% of THEO...and I was meaning, he may be more inclined to give you the 35% being you've never used discretionary before...

Ok thanks. Like Tim said use it or lose it. That's kind of what I figured.

If it's CET, this is what my host told me.

They will use all of your RC first (unless you ask them not to)

Then they will look at 10% of your actual loss for back end comps.

This kind of screws me because I have a high number of RCs.

Other casinos may have slightly different procedures for this.

My understanding of CET Is as follows:

They will use all your reward credits before any discretionary comps. I've never heard of "asking" them not to use them. That's their policy. If it works for you, I think you're in the minority.

You will get either 10% of actual OR 30% of theo, but not both.

Offers are based on ADT. Back end comps are based on the theo from the trip.

If your room is comped, check out day counts as a gaming day.
If you arrive at the hotel at midnight and don't play, it still counts as a gaming day.

To clarify, I had a low balance of RC, and the bill was just internet charges. I told them that I would leave the charges "on the card".
