I know there have been topics about how days are calculated, but I didn't see a topic directly addressing this, so wanted to post it here to see if anyone knows how its handled before I bugged my host.

My wife and I will be in Vegas in about a week (yay!), although V/P is normally our home base this trip we're splitting between palazzo and LINQ to give LINQ a looksie with the renos. We start off at LINQ before going to Palazzo. We have a tradition with some friends of playing what we call "slot golf", basically turning the strip into a golf course with each casino being 1 "hole" and scoring points throughout the day. The game's kind of progressed from simply casino hopping to actually having rules and such, and has become quite a bit of fun. It takes the whole day needless to say.

Anyway, my question is when we visit V/P (Tuesday), if we use our card, will this be counted as a day of stay even though we are not checked in yet? We check in there on Thursday, so if so, will it count Wed as well? I'm not entirely sure how it would affect the calculations.

We wouldn't be earning a ton of points there (althoug I know we'll hang out there a bit after we've played our "hole" since we love the property so much - and likely use our card at a restaurant for dinner as well).

    Any feedback appreciated.

    Thanks!

Any time that you use your card it will register as a "playing Day " in the calculations . If you don't play on Wednesday , it won't count . Playing , or using your card for any reason triggers a "playing day "
Personally I don't worry about it and in the long run it hasn't changed my offers . Everyone is different , and it could affect your particular situation . Bob

As said, use of your card will trigger a day. Many think staying at a hotel is what counts - WRONG. Remember, many folks stay in different hotels, condos or nowhere. A hotel stay is just one of the ways they know you are on property and expect play.

Thanks for the responses, that was my assumption.
