I usually hit it up for a meal, often my "last supper" in Vegas. I also refer to it as "third base."

Since I rent a car, I have the luxury of not going to the busy, chaotic location just off I-15 at Tropicana. I go the other way, to the location just north of Tropicana on Maryland, near the UNLV campus. It's busy, but never the zoo the freeway location is. Without a car, the Maryland location becomes less appealing.

I go to one almost once a week... for as long as I can remember. And I'm still not tired of it.

I used to love it back in my college days living in SoCal. Its still pretty good but i never hit it up in Vegas anymore, there is just no reason since there is far better options on the strip.

No In n out in Hawaii so I make it a point to eat at least one meal at in n out. I would love the animal style but can't eat that plus the burger and soda, too much to eat for me nowadays so I just order the regular meal with ff and a coke.

I usually go to the one on sahara since I rent a car.

yum. craving for it right now (almost lunchtime). Unfortunately trying to lose a little before my labor day trip so I'm just eating a banquet tv dinner for lunch today.

Bommen didn't say "far better fast food burger joint". He just said far better options on the Strip. And I agree with that Burger Bar and Holsteins quickly spring to mind

Respectfully disagree. In and Out is the best hamburger ever made in the history of mankind. And I'm not even being a little big sarcastic. It's perfection on a bun. It can cure cancer.

As UK said i said far better options and i agree with the places he mentioned and i also like to add Stripburger and Canevino into the mix. As far as fast food i don't know, maybe Shake Shack but i have never tried the Vegas location.

It is implied...you know the whole apples to apples thing!

I'm well aware that there are better food options on the strip, but In-N-Out is a fast food burger joint, so why would you compare it to Holsteins (Which I agree is excellent by the way), but it's just not fast food (A better comparison would be white castle/McDonalds/Johnny Rockets etc)...

This is one of those moth-to-a-flame topics around here. lol

For a quick fix, In-N-Out can't be beat. We don't have the geographic scarcity imperative of some so mostly get our fix occasionally when out cruising the highways and byways of California and looking to save some time but not suffer through McDs or something similar. For what it is and does and represents, In-N-Out has it knocked.

I stopped going to in n out a long time ago at least 5 years. Im 51 and from So Cal and I grew up on the Double Double. But it just became to popular and each location every where is crowded. It still is a above average Fast food burger. But there are two many options out there now. I can see going there if you are from out of town and there not where you live. But if you have them locally I could not see going.Last few times I went the lines were long and the fries have been cold for 20 years I have never gotten warm fries there ever.My wife just likes going there because the shakes are still very good and they have bible versus on there bags.
