Is it the "norm" for Mandalay Bay to offer such low free play? I received an offer for suite, $50 Free Play, and $650 Resort Credit. Curious if it's typical for their offers. I am used to other properties offering a larger amount of free play rather than up front resort credit.

$50 fp is not that uncommon, but not with a suite and that much resort credit. Maybe they are just trying something.

We have an offer that is the same but it's $275 in freeplay. That's down from the spring freeplay offer of $500.

Very odd. It's the Summer Wonder Offer, but I beleive my spring was similar.

I normally get half the amount of FP of the RC offered. I did ask for the reverse and was told in a word. No. Seriously, I go there alone how am I going to use 700 in RC? Now 700 in FP.......

They don't care...all the offers I've ever gotten from a casino were always for a "couple", no matter what (even when I was stone cold hooker fuckin' single)

I'm often on my own, but I don't have a hard time racking up room charges. I'm not a big drinker, so I'm not ordering expensive bottles of wine. I'll have a haircut and a massage, so that's about $400. I still go to a high end restaurant for dinner each night.
Having said all that.....sometimes I'm a cheap date for my host and my charges are only $400 for my 4 days.

Not quite your level, but on my next trip I have a comped Suite at MGM and $250 RC, only $75 FP.

I go alone, too and my most recent offer from Mandalay was a suite, 125FP and 700RC. Host wouldn't switch n the FP and RC amounts. I figure I'll treat someone to a nice dinner or two or 3!

I also always have much more RC at Mandalay/Delano than I can possibly use. This past weekend I was able to purchase show tickets and the charges were applied to my RC.

Are these mlife offers? Or are they from the hotel themselves?

Mine are from the marketing departments of the specific hotel. They are different than the MLife seasonal offers.
