MyVegas myVEGAS Tournament of Kings Reward Question

I'm sure this is kind of cheesy, but has anyone used this reward and does it include dinner?

it's pretty vague.. talks about eating with one's finger and states, "nonstop medieval melee with brewskies and a banquet." , however the price value is actually for the "dinnerless" entry so just curious if anyone has redeemed.

I'm actually using it this Saturday. I had no idea there was a "dinnerless" option so now you have me worried.

 

I have. It's fun if you have kids. Otherwise, for adults unless you drink (alcohol is served) and like to yell and scream, it IS cheesy.

Dinner is included. You can't bring in outside food.

Regular Menu:
Cream of Tomato Soup - the base for this soup is chicken stock / thickened with corn starch not flour
Roasted Seasoned Cornish Game Hen – roasted with All Spice Seasoning
Red Bliss Potatoes – Roasted in a bit of olive oil & a touch of salt
Steamed Broccoli with parmesan cheese sprinkled on it.
Apple Square
Roll

Gluten Free Menu:
Soup or garden salad – since the soup is thickened with corn starch it is okay for Gluten Free but we still
give them the choice
Plain Roasted Cornish Game hen – roasted separately to avoid cross contamination
Red Bliss Potatoes
Steamed Broccoli with the parmesan cheese
Fresh Sliced Fruit for Dessert

Vegetarian:
Soup or garden salad – we give them the choice
Pasta with meatless red sauce
Red Bliss Potatoes
Steamed Broccoli with the cheese
Fresh Sliced Fruit – there are times that the guest will select the apple square

Vegan:
Garden salad with no croutons or cheese
Grilled Vegetable Plate that includes the Red Bliss Potatoes & Broccoli
Fresh Sliced Fruit for Dessert

Kosher:
Garden Salad with no croutons or cheese – Oil & vinaigrette on the side
We have beef, chicken and white fish on hand – usually 4-5 of each.
Fresh Sliced Fruit for dessert
*We do require a 5-6 day advance notice on any order of kosher meals over 8 or more guests.
The dinners are cooked and served sealed. The company we use is Kosher Gourmet out of Pennsylvania

Dairy Free:
Garden Salad with no Croutons or cheese - Oil & vinaigrette on the side
Plain Roasted Cornish Game Hen
Red Bliss Potatoes
Broccoli with no cheese
Fresh sliced fruit for dessert

The food is "life sustaining" and worth $20 (the price difference between dinner and dinner-less). My (then) 10 year old son wouldn't eat the Cornish Game hen because it looked "like a baby". (his words not mine) The game hen is served whole on a plate.

It's finger food.

If you don't like Chicken (Roast Cornish Game Hen) then you should probably go Kosher or Vegetarian.

I believe that all the myVegas rewards include the dinner.

Dinner-less is only an option if you are buying admission.

I mean, you could choose dinner-less if you are using myVegas, but you wouldn't get any money back.

 

It is exceedingly cheesy. I was not impressed....and I like almost everything.
And apparently you can ask for utensils to eat with.
I learned that after I was coated with chicken fat.

 

yeah I think I'll skip it... I have so many gold lps, over 1.7 million and yes, I've cashed in over 2 Million in the past.. on several trips, but now so little to purchase since luckily I have hotel comps at Mandalay/Delano. Maybe I'll stay 2 nights at Red Rock too? Nothing much to buy anymore...

 

The show is a lot of fun, especially if you have children! My boy has seen it 3 times and loved it every time! Yes it includes dinner. But it is absolutely terrible! I would advise eating before or after the show somewhere else since you will likely only take a few bites.

 

I always think of the movie Cable guy with Jim Carrey when I see the Tournament of Kings advertisement.

 

Yes it comes with dinner. It is fun if you get into it, just like any silly activity. Have a few drinks during the show and cheer for your knight.

 

Me too. I laughed when I read that some thought Medeival Times (the knight show/dining experience) was invented for the movie, mainly because I live close to the Buena Park location and figured everyone knew about it.
