So due to a last minute change in our flight schedule, rather than arriving in the evening as we normally do, we will be arriving at 8:50 am. We are staying 2 nights at LINQ before heading to Palazzo. I know there's probably no way LINQ will let us check in that early (unless anyone has any tips), but do they have a baggage hold or someplace we can put our luggage so we can hit the town without fear of our stuff getting stolen or having to lug our bags all over?

    Thanks!

Yeah, 8:50am is probably too early without paying an early check-in fee, but if the line isn't long, I probably would inquire about it. We've checked in as early as noon without a fee.

There is a bell desk though which we've utilized a few times with no problems.

the bell desk is literally beside the check in desk, so if you have to use it, it's no hastle and probably one of the easiest to use in all of Vegas. With that said, if there is an early check out fee, I'd be tempted to use it. I always tip the bag people $5-10 when I give my bag and $5-10 when I pick them up. It's hardly more to get into your room and settled early and not have the hastle of coming back to get your stuff later.

How much is an early check-in fee, or does it depend on the room rate?

Fuzzy, how early does your flight leave if you're arriving at 8:50 am?? May as well not bother going to bed, lol.

I'm debating between a flight that leaves at 8:30 am which seems really early, or 4:00 pm and miss most of the Packer game.

Our flight leaves at 740 am from Ohio, but with the time changes it makes our 4+ hour flight effectively only 1 hour. We try and do direct whenever possible, our options are always 740 am or 5 pm, but for some reason we were stuck with the early flight in this instance. I agree not hardly worth sleeping since we live about an hour and a half from the airport...hopefully I can catch some zzz's on the plane since I won't sleep much in vegas either!!

I have no idea what the early fee might be. At V/P we always get it without a fee, I'm assuming maybe $20? Which an above poster is right, is absolutely worth it.

The reason for my questions is I've read where checkin at the LINQ ican be a disaster so wasn't sure if early check in was even an option (or if the bell desk was reliable).

I've heard the horror stories about Linq check in, but I've never experienced them. Both stays, I've checked in and out with no lineup at all and hopefully the same happens tomorrow. I'd guess the early check in fee for places is $20-$25, but I've never had to pay one.

Bell desk is reliable, I've used it twice without any issues. It was fast and efficient

Thanks again! Good to hear! Best of luck on the trip, I'd be curious as to what you thought of LINQ. Its our first time staying there (tacked on a couple nights to our regular stay at Palazzo). I've really liked the look and feel of the Casino as we constantly cut through there on our way down the strip. I often have trouble passing up my craps tables or that stupid virtual reality BJ dealer, and its easy to catch the scores of the game at that little book there. We are definitely eager to see the rooms, but trying to keep expectations in check so as to avoid a letdown.

Checking in tomorrow night really late, hoping it will be easy/chill. It's going to be a long day.

Be hopeful, I once checked in at 10:15am, room was ready and they didn't question it. Just a tip, call Total Rewards and request a "free early check-in" they will make note of it, and when checking in, they will see it. It can't hurt.

Thanks for the tip!! I just contacted Caesar's to do as you suggested, so we'll see what happens. We do arrive on a Monday, so I'm hoping there might be some rooms available early in the day.

We enjoy the Linq. Lots of foot traffic, so people watching can be fun. Mid-week chances are good you can find a $5 craps table. Tring will tell you that if you're going to play bar top VP at a CET property, the bar just inside the door from Margaritaville is your place. Just west of there are a bank of Wonder Woman penny slots that are pretty fun. The four Wonka machines back by the sports book don't ever seem to pay out though. Drink service has always been good, always okay with ordering a shot and a beer at the same time. Plus it's fun to walk through the connected O'Sheas. They have a good craps crew there. Plus there are two cocktail waitresses that are smokin'. One is a brunette whose legs just don't stop, and the other is a blonde who wears a bustier sometimes, ohmigod. :faint: At least, so I've heard...

Check-in can be a bit of a hassle. There's no "line" at the desk so everyone just mills about waiting for an agent to open up, then three groups mad dash to that spot. Find yourself a nice spot to hang out, and just check the desk periodically for when it's not so busy. The pool is relatively plain, but it's brand new this year. Getting chairs wasn't an issue for us in March. Enjoy your stay.

Yes, VIP check in just inside doors from cab drop off. Never seems to be a wait there and always seems to be a long line at regular check in

Does VIP check in include Platinum as well?
