Aria Restaurants?????

I've been pretty mad at Aria and the dumb offers they are giving me is really stupid. My host said she will put me on Full RFB and the guest services offered me some resort credits but I can only use them at a Aria restaurants. I've had dinner at a few of the places at Aria and I have not been impressed. I think the food is sub par and not worth it.

Can some VMBers recommend some restaurants at Aria and dishes that is worth going to eat at?

Cosmopolitan, Wynn, Caesar's and MGM Grand has some great restaurants. I just don't get why I get such bad service and food at Aria?.


I think Aria has a picture of me up that says give this guy bad food and service. LOL.

 

I love the current food options at Aria. Julian Serrano gets my best endorsement. I love tapas and have never tried their large plates, but the tapas are fantastic. I also very much like Bardot, Jean Georges Steakhouse, and the teppanyaki grill. Those are probably my favorites. On longer trips, I also enjoy Javiers for Mexican food, 550 for pizza (better than Secret Pizza IMO) and the sushi restaurant

 

Thanks UKFanatic I guess you really like Aria from the Spa to the restaurants. I'm the opposite. I like Secret pizza more.than 550. Blossom and Lemongrass i think Talon is better. And Teppanyaki grill I like Mitzi more.

Think I'm just getting the bad side. Long wait times for tables. long waits on food and not very good. Don't get me wrong it is better than buffet but for the prices I'm signing for just does seem like it is that good.

Julian Serrano looks like I'm going to go there again and see. I trust UKF's suggestions so I'll give it another go.

Nothing wrong with those places, either. Just a matter of preference. JS is really the best, though. I suggest trying the creamy risotto, pan manchego, and the salmon with truffle

 

JS is the best! I love that place! Has the new restaurant in Bellagio opened yet?

 

I love Javiers. As a transplant from Dallas to the East Coast it's hard to find good Tex-Mex in my area so I'm always in search whenever I travel.

While the margs are pretty good, the chips and salsa are badass. The guac is great as well. I went there every night with the old lady my last trip just to sit at the bar and eat the chips and salsa with a margarita.

The food offerings are just okay. Nothing to write home about. Just stick the carne asada. It's pretty hard to F that up.

I'm also a big fan of JS. Been twice and never had a bad plate.

The huevos rancheros at Cafe Aria are some of the best I've ever eaten. Though you won't be burning many comps eating those.

Otherwise I eat off property.

 

Julian Serrano is fantastic. I really like Javier's and Five50 as well. The ritas at Javier's are great and the carnitas and carne asada are decent. I especially liked the Pineapple and Tamarind ritas. The restaurant can be a bit noisy and the food could be a bit spicier, though. I've only been to Lemongrass once but it was very solid. They will ratchet up the heat level to nuclear if you want it. I ordered a 3 on a scale of 10 and it blew my lips off

I had a couple of good meals at Todd English PUB, but from the sound of things I assume you will not be able to use your credits there.

I'm sorry you have ended up with such bad experiences at Aria! I love it there. Best of luck to you if you end up giving it another whirl.

 

Sage is not only my favorite at Aria, but it's my favorite in the city. Top notch service and high quality eats every single time, and I've dined a dozen times. I haven't gotten to Bardot yet, but my second choice is Jean Georges. Others are fine, but nothing too notable.

 

I had a great meal at Todd English a few years back in Harrah's new orleans.

I've just had Sub par service and food at Aria. I mean I have had better food at Downtown casino Restaurants. If it was like Wynn where you pay for the Location and Ambiance that is one thing but I see nothing great at the restaurants.


I'm going to give julian Serrano a try again.

 

Had the brunch at Bardot. Onion soup with oxtail was great, duck and waffles not so much.

 

I'm a big fan of Sage but I seem to be the only one very unimpressed with Serrano (sangria was tasty, though). Perhaps I didn't order well.

As mentioned, Five50 is good pizza. I thought the Forager was much better than the Gotham.

 

I"ve always enjoyed Jean Georges. I always go there at least once a trip.

 

The food options are one of the big reasons why I stay at Aria consistently. I'll add to the praise of Julian Serrano, and Jean-Georges and Sage are great, too; I also eat at Lemongrass pretty often, and do takeout from Javier's and Five50 at least once a trip. The only place I wasn't hugely impressed with was Bardot, which I've eaten at a couple of times but didn't love. I have to say, too, that I've always gotten fantastic service at Aria; maybe it's because I always eat at the bar and wind up making friends with the bartenders, but I'll go to places I haven't been to in months and they still remember me by name.

 

Yes it opened in April.Lago is where Circo was located.
Been there twice and really enjoyed it.Got patio table with my wife both times and we are both looking forward to returning.

Like UK,I eat at JS and Jean George at Aria at least once per trip.

 

JS is the place to go! Oddly enough I kind of agree with you on the dining.. We didn't like Sage at all, I swear we must of ordered the wrong thing or something. But none of us liked it. Jean Georges was fine, but as much as it cost, it should have been better. The buffet wasn't super fantastic either (service was poor when I went).

But we do hit up Julian Serrano on nearly every trip. Since it's small plates you can try a ton of different dishes.
