I've been playing the same average bet and time/day all of last year and this year at CET. At the beginning of this year my free-play decreased to half of what it usually is. But I noticed in the past month that my free-play has increased to almost what it was last year.

I haven't noticed...then again, they still hate me, lol. (posting this from my jacuzzi tub room at Harrahs Lake Tahoe; which I booked last year when they loved me, hahaha)

Its possible, but its probably more likely that your trips are cycling out of their 'memory'.

If I recall correctly, they base their offers on your play in the last 18 months, so if a particularly big trip gets older, the offers then drop, and then if a lower trip does the offers go back up.

See, I think they have been increasing free play. In both New Orleans and Baltimore, I've been getting more such offers than ever before. FWIW, I was comped in a premium room in NOLA, but not even eligible for a reduced rate in Baltimore. I got around $50 in free play in both locations, as opposed to my usual $15 or $20.

They'll hate you for eternity unless you drag your ADT - comp value consumed up to a positive value.

I think you burned them pretty damn good though, imo.

Up until this year my free play was always between $4500-5000 but this year all my offers were at $1750 with the same play as always maybe a little more. Our trip in June our host came across with $1500 and 2 days later another $1500 and said that's the best he could do cause they have cut way back. I do see my future offers are up to $3000 now so maybe they are coming back a bit. There still was no problem with comping our $1500 in room charges.

Bah, they don't deal in forever in my experience. I have cycled through many phases of them hating me, and they never should have liked me much to start with.

I currently am getting around $150 Freeplay offers in Vegas. (e-mail offers are stating $300 but in fine print say $150 per month)
It has been as low as $50 and as high as $350 (altho that has only happened twice for me)

I can't imagine how much I would have to gamble to get $5000 FP.. damn. Everything is relative tho

They are giving you that offer for 2 months Guy - I have one that is the same. Mine says $100 but it is $50 July & $50 August.

My FP offers went from 75-100 to 30-40 on an average daily tier of around 500.

I do still get other offers that are better such as Amazon gift card $50 & earn 1500 pts in the 2 or 3 day period & get a new Kindle fire. Those vary too as one of my friends received offer for just the fire with no gift card at all and another received both up-front. Both of those slightly higher than me, so in long run I have a better opportunity than the one friend who has no opportunity to step-up.

Horseshoe Baltimore has been sending me offers for $4 freeplay. Yes, $4. Not even enough to cover gas money. I guess that shows how much of a low roller I am.

I went to Seneca in Buffalo, NY last summer for like an hour. Won $300 and left (it was a week before I was going to Vegas, I was literally just going across the Border to test my new passport after my old one had serious issues with it {aka it scanned as someone elses picture}).

It's a solid hour and a half drive away yet i keep getting $5 and $10 freeplay vouchers in the mail. The latest offer they sent me was a little better, but still nothing close to bringing me back

It reminds me of a long time ago during our annual raise. My boss told me that since I did so well that year and received an outstanding achievement award at the company (15 out of around 10,000 got this award across the country), I got a $1 raise. I was salaried so the $1 was per week. After taxes I could buy myself a can of soda from the vending machine each week. Only because I worked long hours to get the company an extra $100k in bonus money for achieving a technical goal.

Such low amounts get to be insulting.

I have learned, that in 95% of my visits, the freeplay is nothing but a teaser. I blow more than that.

I have also learned (or assumed) that the amount of freeplay moves up and down for many, many reasons.

As your play drops, they might try to get you back a few times with decent freeplay, but at some point they realize you have lowered your risk level.

They (Horseshoe Council Bluffs) recently started sending me $4 freeplay offers as well, after a very long dry spell.

Their main competitor, Ameristar, started doing it as well, but they are a bit more generous.

Nope, my offers are still exactly 1/2 of where they were on January/Feb of this year. I was getting $450 now I have offers of $200-$225 in Vegas. I haven't given them a penny since then so my average hasn't moved an inch. Nothing went up for me. Sadly I booked a trip in Jan right when all this was going down and they even tried pulling out on my confirmed booked free play. At least it seems they stopped doing that horseshit.

In other news, I did get a call from one of their Casino Executives 3 weeks ago asking me what my summer plans are. I told him my free play was cut in half and asked if i sent him one of my offers from the Trop or MGM (like $350 in free play) and asked him to match it I'd book. He said they dont match offers for currently rated players. i said fair enough than there is no reason to book with CET for an offer thats 1/2 as much as others have me pegged for. He thanked me for my honesty and hung up.

+1 what Grid said in terms of offers. Mine are still half and I asked my host about bumping them up for my most recent trip (a host I had last August did, unsolicited) and she didn't even reply with a yes or a no, but it was effectively a no. There was a chance I was going to attend the Seven Stars trip in August but I think I'm going to cancel that. No free play of significance and my air fare credits for Diamond and Seven Stars I have now used up for the year. Though it's not Vegas that weekend I can collect almost $500 in Free Play from AC casinos for the cost of a bus trip so I just may enjoy AC that weekend. It's not Vegas but it's decent, especially with the summer ocean/boardwalk activity. I'll save up for my Christmas to New Years trip and while I'll be staying at Caesars for the NYE activities (and comped rooms), I plan to give Wynncore the bulk of my play.

I feel my free play offers are coming more frequently if not for more money each time. It's a good thing because I was starting to think all those surveys I've filled out telling them their offers werent enough and their free play should be better wasn't getting thru.

I just came back from AC over a month ago. Much easier flight from chicago and i like the boardwalk. I stayed at Borgatta 2 nights and Caesars 2 nights. My money lastly much longer at the Borg but I played thru about the same (CET just cost me more out of pocket) 2 nights at the Borg earned me $90 in point play + $180 in comps and bounce back free play of $200 and a host emailed me offering to double that. CET with the same $9K (roughly) coin-in got me $20.00 in reward credits that would equal just over 10 bucks in free play (I'm diamond) and an offer for 2 Commodores tickets or $25 in free play or $25 in food comps. But i can only pick one LOL.

CET is just a mess everywhere.
