Any chance I'd get some sort of mailers or something from the D with the following action.

$25-$75 a hand BJ, about 15 minutes including using a ACG $25 matchplay and push 22 coupon. Played a little over $1000 in at bartop BP VP upstairs. A couple $100 buying at craps, 3,4,5 odds and pressing 6 and 8 starting $6 each.

    Once again thanks for advice.

If you got a card, you'll get mailers. Might not get you much initially but I guess it depends on what their casino marketing does for first time players.

Every season I get a mailer with one free night with a paid night or something like that. a few bucks of free play and a small food coupon.

    I play .9 lines, .01 per line.

The moral of the story: Its cheaper to pay full pop rather then waiting for comps. I do get beers from the cocktail lady so thats a win for me, especially as I am only betting 9 cents at a time.

That should get you 2 night mailers.

Yeah you'll get mailers if you played all that on your card.

Is the D no longer 10x odds?

You don't have to wait and watch the daily mail to see, either. I have often missed the intended mailers, called the reservations desk, and they looked me up and booked me. I actually booked that way for two nights in September. The clerk said the mailers for September had not been out yet, but looked me up and was surprised that I had a two for one offer. I booked.
A week or so later the mailer came. My call must have been just on the cusp of the mailing. I must have been the first fellow that clerk had looked up in a while and there was the mailer she thought had not yet been sent.
And I guess that is what I like best. She did her job and did not depend on what she thought she knew, but on what she got when she looked me up.
If you get a 2 for 1 offer, note that you do now have to pay the resort fee on the one night you buy. However, in many cases the rack rate is low enough to offset most of that.
Take a look at the calendar. Many nights are 22 or 24 a night. The resort fee is a high $22.60 with tax. But split in half $26 a night is not too bad a rate. I'll gamble less while I'm there and see if I still get the entry level 2 for 1 rate. I'm actually wondering if I could get a mailing just playing the coin drop full pay nickel Deuces machine. I doubt I'll stick to that, however. When the quad progressive goes up, I want to be at the Vue Bar BP machine.
One other problem is that you get 2 nights a month on a 2 for 1 offer but they must be used together. You can't use one set of 2 for 1 in the beginning of the month and another a week later.

My booking was high because that damned Life is L̶o̶u̶d̶ a̶n̶d̶ C̶r̶o̶w̶d̶e̶d̶.....Beautiful Festival forced even those before festival night prices up. It was still the best I could do for Sept. 23-24. This does increase the value of fully comped rooms. No resort fee with those. Also, most of the times I've booked they have included money for food that generally supports ($5) a very light breakfast bowl of fruit in the really nice café while points even from low rollers will buy the coffee. If you ask for cinnamon for the fruit, it will come free and you will get enough to drop some in your daily coffee for the rest of your Vegas stay. However, in room coffee is not an amenity. The Keurig machines are gone. I carry my own little coffee maker and add cinnamon to whatever good coffee I've brought along or scrounged from say, the Four Queens, where coffee is given pretty freely.
And speaking of the Four Queens. There the hosts (ask for VIP phone line) will look up offers and book on mailings that you may have not seen. We winter in Florida and no postcards are forwarded so this happens to me a lot.
Now, the Eastside Cannery is at the other end of the spectrum. They won't even confirm on the phone that they have sent a mailer because after all, you might not actually be you. So you have to check they have the right information for mailers in person. And mailers for September come sometime in August.
    Damn locals focused spots!
Okay, EC I'll come in person with my free voucher for a free buffet and free wine and see a few free lounge acts of Claudine Castro this next trip. I hoped to stay a weekend at casino rate and seed play for future offers, but now I won't even play with you Eastside because you have jerked me around on this.
Maybe some poker if the room is not just the regular rocks but includes a few passive callers. Sorry, for the off topic rant.
The D is the opposite. Always willing to help. But like everything else downtown, the prices are going up because the place is now the in-place to be. In their case they tried to keep the rack rates down for their regular gamblers and so began to charge the resort fee at least once.

Still 10x but the way I was rolling kept my odds low, would've increased if I ever hit a point.

That's how I do it at The D. 2x odds on place/come bets, then up it $5 every time a number hits.
