Could use some quick help. Have been seeing posts flying around about work being done at the flamingo. I have someone in my party that is sensitive to smells. Paint, heavy cleaning, etc... Anyone been there recently? Work being done in the casino or in the hallways? I thought I heard mention of this recent but can't find it.

Also, do the Go room bathroom doors have locks on them? I've stayed in them before, but can't remember.

    Thanks for the help!

I was at the Flamingo this week and I didn't see work being done in the casino. I don't believe GO rooms have locks on the doors.

How's the elevator situation? Any issues?

The bathroom doors do not have locks on them. Just stayed there this week. They have the sliding frosted doors on them. I did not see any work being done at all.

When we first checked in last Sunday we were told that the elevators were not working and that we would have to go to the spa elevators. Good thing that I went to the casino elevators first, because they were working. Now are they the best elevators? No. Number 3 has a shaky top. On one of them the left hand panel does not always work-went right past our floor. And the worst one is I believe number 11. Doesn't stop even with the floor and does this little jerk movement after the doors open. On that one only once and then avoided it after. But they were working the 5 days we were there.

Thanks to those who gave the feedback. Appreciate it.

I didn't think I remembered a lock. Not an issue normally but this trip it could be.

No lock on the bathroom frosted door...You can sit in bed and watch the person in the mirror in the entrance the bathroom...Not a lot of privacy...Just watch tv and not the mirror and you will be ok...

You can't see them fully if door is closed - only the shadow outline.
