A good friend of mine was part of a team that put the Pirate Ships back out in front of TI. I'm going down to the strip to see them tonight, but saw pictures today of them all lit up! They look beautiful!!! No associated show and they won't be moving... just stationary, but the lights on them REALLY look fantastic. They'll also be lighting 80 some palm trees in the background as well. I think it's a cool tie-in to the past.

This is great news and perhaps a step back in the right direction for branding!

Now all they have to do is take down that daycare center-coloring "TI" and put back the skull and crossbones.

I'd be down for the revival of themed casinos. Even just nostalgic eye-candy, like this sounds to be. :)

I think taking the themes out of the casino's will be looked back upon as a big mistake.

    Who sponsors the boats?...

Call me cynical but I fully expect to see CVS or some other logos on them. :)

Look forward to seeing that in August. I am all for converting one of the ships into a walk up bar/Fat Tuesday type of thing.

    Just my two cents.
