    What are the Studio Rooms?
    Anyone stayed in one?
Is it better than the FAB room?

Agent told me they were 'Fab mini-suites'. I can't seem to get a straight answer though, searching doesn't come up with much. Seem to be a new or renamed category of rooms...

Actually - if I am remembering right - the Studio Rooms are the older rooms
and have a bedroom with an archway that leads into the living room. They are
very old and I don't think they have been updated. You could ask at check-in, but
I think the Studios are the old 1 bedrooms. I think there might be a picture of one
on the Total Rewards site. Look at the Hotel tab under Flamingo and it should
post all the rooms with pictures.

In my reservation (that I have ti cancel) it shows it as a Fab Mini Suite - although I booked it as a studio room.

The Studio 1 King appears to be what Niteshade is talking about.

Whereas the Studio 2 doubles appears to be different, and looks updated.

From all the info I have dug up on these boards, the studio (fab mini-suite) is an older non- updated room. I called and changed ours to a GO room.

The studio room is an older room...think it used to be the mini-suite. I had a FAB room booked in January and $20 trick got me into one of the Studio 2 Doubles rooms. LOTS of room. It was an interior corner room (habitat/pool view). Decor was pretty dingy...similar to the FAB rooms before they were renovated. Nice enough room...good for entertaining if you're looking to hang out in the room with a bunch of people. It was just a buddy and I, so we didn't really use the room for anything but sleeping or showering.

    But also separate shower/tub right?

No...shower/tub combination. Bathroom was identical to a regular FAB room.

hrmm, then I misinterpreted the room description (or it was wrong).

I had this booked for January and was wavering anyway. Now I guess the Linq gets a shot after all.

    Any pictures?

Can you confirm that to get to the bed area that you pass through an archway?

What was the main area of the room like - what type of furniture?

    Thanks!

I think the King studio has the archway. My room did not. Furniture was older, similar to the FAB rooms before the remodel. The whole room is an L shape. The living area was about the size of a FAB room with the "bedroom" area about 3/4 of the size of a FAB room. Bathroom was almost identical to a FAB room bathroom.

And that's funny because the e-mail that I got back from Flamingo said: "Thank you for your continued interest in the Studio room at Flamingo Hotel. We have contacted room assignments who advised that both the king and double rooms will have the archway. Due to the angle of which the picture was taken with the 2 doubles you are unable to see the archway. "

Yeah...and based on the picture on the Flamingo's website of the studio 2 double/queen room, the studio is EXACTLY what I stayed in. That picture on the website could have been taken in my exact room from what it looks like. Definitely no archway...
