With the expiry of my Noir card on the horizon I'm looking to explore a new player's club. Can anyone weigh in on Mlife vs. Grazie for the slot player?

I LOVE specialty slots and thought Venitian/Palazzo maybe a good fit, but can't really find any comparisons out there. Before I start at the bottom of the food chain, I want to make sure it was worth it!

Also, anything that stands out as awesome-er play, stay or club wise? I don't play for Comps, but sure love 'em!!

    Thanks!

I can't comment on the difference of the players club but if you're noir you should talk to a host at V/P so that you wouldn't be completely starting over. And since your play is at the noir level I would expect you to move up the tiers quickly.

What little I do know is their points are based on theoretical.

Here is the club brochure: https://clubgrazie.venetian.com/App_Themes/Assets/PDF/CardLevelBrochure_en-US.pdf

Definitely see a host about a match. They should at least get you gold, and maybe platinum (top tier).

VegasChic- is near Platinum, she might be of help. (Apologies in advance for "volunteering" you)

My "personal" history is that the slots there are even tighter. May or may not be true.

There are minimal perks at any level and can not speak to what they tend to comp based on comparable play.

Lack of variety in hotels would be my concern.

    Thanks for the replies!

I contacted a host and they will try and match my current offers and bump me up to gold early in my trip based on my play.

Tighter slots would be a concern. I feel like I'm getting ripped off at Mlife with everything changing to 10 points per dollar on one of the worst bets in the casino as it is (max pennies) and appreciated (what little) I understand of Grazie's approach, but at the end of the day, I'd rather have money than points... Lol

I don't mind being stuck in one casino as long as it's large and has a great selection of games and denominations. I won't leave anyway, if the drinks are easy to come by;)

Side note: Thoughts on quality of liquor\cocktails with drinks2u feature? Sounds fun, but gross drinks would be a deal breaker.

I'm Gold at both. Got the Diam match for V/P Gold years ago, and have maintained it since. (I used to be Plat. Mlife, dropped to Gold, and I don't care)
Its easier for me to maintain Gold at V/P, than it is for Mlife.
I also like the Tourney offers I get for V/P and alot more Comp stay offers at V/P than Mlife.
Palz is nice place to stay. Always. I like the Gold lounge in Ven. Still classy and Not crowded.
I'm not a big slot player, so can't give much advice as to which casino is better in that regard?
I also luv their Salon at Canyon Ranch, which also adds to points and maintaining Gold level,
by charging to your Room, and get 20X points.
Once youre given Gold match at V/P.......Keep it. Only 20k points per year to maintain Gold.
And its Easy to do with 20X points with a Gold card. ( I can usually keep Gold status with 2 stays per year.)
Much Harder to acquire Gold, if you let it go after your match. So with 2 stays per year, I keep Gold & luv it.
    My 2c.

Ugh! Mlife, it is... I wish CET had nicer properties and Cosmo a bigger casino.

That chart is almost 15 years old!!!! Wynn and Encore aren't even on that list!

Nor does it show denominations. A lot has changed since then.

I would rather be Gold at V/P than Platinum at mLife.

My recent experience is that if you want better slot odds, downtown is the place to play. But then again, the properties aren't as "nice".

IMHO, all the casinos on the strip are about the same. I've won at all of them, and I've lost at all of them.

V/P has recently (2 years ago) overhauled their slot program.

IMHO, Caesar's Augustus Tower rivals Venetian/Palazzo.

I stayed at V/P last week and next week I'm staying (once again) at Caesars.

With mLife, your play level dictates where you will get offers. Right now I get offers from Mirage and MGM Grand, and only discounted rates from Aria and Bellagio, and I'm Platinum mLife.

Don't throw V/P away yet without giving them a go!!!!

Last year I split my play at Cosmo and CET- loved Cosmo but too small to do all my play there which was cutting my comps in half. Gave the over flow play to CET but couldn't win a dime there and didn't care for the rooms.

Although there isn't too much fanfare for V/P it seems, I decided to give them all my play this year to see how it would go. So far after two trips, I'm really happy with the switch! My first trip this year playing slots there, I ended up ahead, and the second trip I broke even on my slot play there give or take a couple hundred bucks. I'm less than 40k points shy of Platinum there....not bad especially if it hasn't cost me anything yet! The offers back have been okay- I think last trip my THEO was 6000 and my upcoming offer is 3 nights, $700 freeplay and $150 dining. On my two trips they did take all extra charges that could be removed off the back end as well. Aside from the monthly base offer (like above) they will also send more offers with some add on's like show tix or a daybed at the pool. Some slot tournament offers as well.

I really like the drinks2you drink feature though it's not on every machine. I find the drinks as they arrive sometimes to be small in size, but, find the CW's come around very frequently- at least on the Palazzo side. What I haven't figured out yet with the drinks is if they have signature cocktails and martini's........

Otherwise, love the location with the proximity to shopping, LOTS of dining options, 10 pools between the two properties, every room is a suite....not much more I could ask for. I've found everyone very friendly, hosts approach you at the machines, drink managers ensure you are taken care of and haven't had any negative situations yet. The slot floor itself is huge and always get the newest slots.

Especially if you have a host willing to expidite you to Gold, I'd take them up on it and give it a go!!!!

    Hope this helps!!

Thank you for the detailed reply! The comp offer sounds generous for the THEO! Are you working with a host?

I'd be quite happy to scale my play to make platinum in two trip, with those kind of offers on the table. Provided the slots give me some love of course!

Welcome to grazie. Screw mlife. It was the best decision to leave mlife. I most likely would have not visited Wynn, v/p or Cosmo if mlife didn't suck so much. Good thing they suck a can of nuts

Unless I'm missing something, if you have over a 1 million points you should get a host. That way you never have to worry about points or MLife status. Your host will comp everything!

I have a host and last trip he did take care of everything.
My offers, however have gone down recently from SkySuites to Corner Suites.
    $400 RC to $300 RC.
When you have the offer it does not hit your primary comps.
If I want to upgrade, dine at good restaurants, and my wife hits the spa I am on the bubble.
I hear a lot of touting on here of other players clubs vs.MLife .
Just thinking maybe I should check something else out.

Just as Nittany1 said, an up-front offer, particularly free play, is much better than backend comp from a host.

I am working with a host now, but started there cold. I had some small play that got me a teaser offer initially of free nights and a slot tourney that I did last December. I made Gold that trip (lost $$ that time), but started the year at Gold level and have given all my play this year based on starting the year at Gold. It was on the first trip this year that I was approached by the hosts.

If you have been in contact with someone who can expedite to Gold - that is a HUGE advantage. Starting at the base level, I found it pretty expensive getting to Gold on the one trip since I wasn't having any luck. BUT, once you are Gold, the TC's add up much quicker (50% faster) - and so it's then easy to rack them up so long as you have some amount of luck at the machines. It makes maintaining the higher levels much easier. It steps up again at Platinum (100% faster than basic on slot play), so I assume once there, it will be much easier to maintain as well.

    Good luck!
