I'll be in Vegas this September. It will be the first time we're there during football season.

What's the best place downtown to watch the games while playing tables and video poker?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I agree with both choices but, MSS only has games off air and basic cable. Chi Brewing has the Sunday Ticket, so all games are available.

Joe, how many TV's does Chi brewing have? I've been in there a couple of times, but I have no idea how many they have. I would go to the Kings Bar at 4Q. Watched football there and played VP last fall. Great time!

There are 3 in the main bar area. Then in the side room there are another 4. No bartops in there, just food & drink.
In the main bar there is only one audio source and that is from whatever game is on the big screen behind the bar. I've never sat in the side room so I don't know the audio setup, but I do know they can have multiple games on. Not sure if they can have 7 different ones, but four for sure. I've seen 3 different in the bar and from there I've seen a fourth game on one of the side room sets.

If there is a Bears game on, that for sure will be on the biggest TV and have audio in the bar. The weekend bartender is a huge anything Chicago fan, but for sure the da Bears.

IMO, very good. We love their thin crust pizza, but the sandwiches we have had are also very good. We have never had it, but they also serve a Chicago style deep dish pizza. I've seen a few being served and they look very good.

I really like their Chicago style deep dish pizza. It does take a bit longer for them to cook than their thin crust pizzas, which are also quite tasty.

Also, the non-bar area of Chicago Brew Co is non-smoking, so keep that in mind if you head there to watch football. The bar area sells cigars.

What about the Plaza's Sports Bet? They have several TV's lots of seating. I will be downtown in October and will probably watch the games there.

I go every year for NFL playoff football.
typically watch a game or two @ the Longbar and at least one game @ 777 brewery.
Longbar is great and they do have VP if you're into that. 777 is food and beverage, no gaming.
I've been known to sneak over to a BJ table @ the D as well. plenty of TVs above the tables if you want to multitask. I like longbar for the audio tho..

...like Joe said, be sure to check to see what kind of NFL coverage a bar offers. The Boar's Head at MSS did not carry a Thursday night game because it was on the NFL Network. Personnally, my favorite is Long Bar at The D...they have nearly every game on, a very good beer selection and the bartenders were great. When it is busy (Sunday afternoon) they will NOT let you just sit at the bar and watch the game...the bar is "reserved" for those that are gambling also.

    Pretty good vibe there

If it is not on local channels or ESPN, then forget 777. They only get basic cable.

Deep dish pizza was very good. Appetizers were decent. Burger was dry and kinda tasteless.
If you are playing video poker be careful what you order for drinks if you expect them comped. We spent the night drinking glenfiddich on the rocks after we ate..... they dont comp any scotch more expensive than dewers.

Do you have pictures of their Sportsbook? I'm heading DT (from Canada) for the games on the last weekend in Dec. Still trying to decide where to watch with the friend I'm cruising down with (his wife will be hitting the slots)
