Help Needed: Photo Scavenger Hunt Ideas on the Strip

I am holding a small conference at The Mirage the week of Sept. 6, and I have been given a task to set up a Photo Scavenger Hunt for my attendees at the conference.

Basically, I am going to provide a list of 20 - 30 photo spots on The Strip, where I'll have the attendees take pictures next to certain spots on the strip. Then, they'll send those to my admin, and we'll post a photo montage at the end of the conference, and provide prizes for the most photos checked off the list.

I'm not looking for a "The Hangover' style photo montage, and I have easy ideas covered like: Get a Picture w/ an Elvis, get a picture in front of the volcano, etc.

However, I was looking for thoughts on more challenging photo ops to provide in my list. I would love to get some of your thoughts on challenging, unique photo op spots on the Strip.

Picture with a Bride.

Picture of a jackpot - highest $$$ one gets the point. (This could be interesting.)

Here's a very difficult one - picture of a working outdoor escalator.

 

Find the "secret pizza" and rubbing Buddha's tummy for luck. Picture with the big shoe. Play Sigma Derby. Picture of an ice bar. Unless they are familiar with Vegas, they'll have to go to lots of casinos to find these things.

Picture with a celebrity. Most famous celebrity gets the point.
Picture with a porn slapper.
Picture with a bachelorette or bachelorette party. She must be wearing a veil, sash, etc confirming.

Pix of a bag of White Castle burgers given to a homeless guy..
Nightime pix of Luxor beam into the Moon (or closest to it..I know I had it one September trip with view from Gold Coast)

 

Would I get bonus points for having a pic of my wife on a porn slappers back?

 

I like to add in some action goals/shots such as getting a natural BJ, sing your college fight song, high five 10 people, etc.

This seems like a fun project, but if your audience has been to Vegas, it'll just be a race to get to things, rather than trying to find things.

Here are some ideas:

- Picture a specific Strip hotel room number (i.e. 2104). Make sure such number doesn't exist in the hotel they're staying. This is something not easily found on Google. And it gets more fun at night, when they need to beat the security to get to the elevators without a key ) Heck, I've been to Vegas 10 times and even I can't figure out where to start.
- Picture with a "girls direct to you" billboard carrying truck
- Picture next to a $1 Cleopatra 2 machine
- Picture with a "$1 ice cold water" seller
- Picture of two cafe signs, with the word "pastrami" in it
- Picture of 10 unique Starbucks locations (hint, I made up the number, but I guess there's more than that) - same can go for say 5 Louis Vuitton boutiques
- Picture of 50 sewing machines at once
- Picture of a hookah (smoking or not shouldn't matter if they know where to find them)
- Picture of one rail car
- Picture a steakhouse at a European-named casino (I guess Monte Carlo, Bellagio, Venetian, Palazzo, Paris, Caesar's all work for this purpose)

 

Picture of Chewbacca or Picture of hairiest person on strip or Pic of most famous co-pilot.

(Is Chewbacca still taking pics on the strip?)

 

Both Wynn and Aria house some unusual, obscure art. Call the concierge at both and tell them what you are doing, they will be able to suggest locations which will be damn difficult to find and could count as a "bonus" in your game.

Take a picture of the apostrophe in Caesars Palace

 

How about just a picture of an apostrophe with no location, then they could also use Denny's or Chili's too.

Take a picture with The Greenbacks.

Picture with a Flamingo, the bigger the more points (Flamingo entrance off of The Linq)

 

Picture from the front seat of the car at the top of Stratosphere .
Picture of a bridal party...bonus points for the bride to be obviously drunk.
Top of the Eiffel tower
Picture of a pin-up(pizza)
