I have an offer on TR - Get 2 tickets to Paris' Sweet 16 Dinner Party on 9/5, $100 Casino Play & gift. Does anybody have any info on what this might be? I have emailed my host, but she's off Sundays and possibly Mondays.

    Thanks

Not sure what you mean by what it might be? It's the 16th anniversary...roughly...of Paris (the casino) opening so probably is just a dinner party with maybe some music.

From what I've seen, gift is usually a hat, shirt or some trinket.

I booked that offer, and got the mailer this past week. Its over Labor Day weekend so it looked like a pretty good promotion.

Actually they are calling it now "OOH LA' LA'" David's Favorite Things promotion.

Front end comp offer is pretty good. I had all properties offered, minus Caesars for 5 nights. Of course Cromwell is blocked off, and I got a casino rate from marketing department for Sat / Sun.

    - Five nights free
    - $100 in casino play
    - Two tickets to the Oooh La La Dinner Party hosted by David Hoenemyer ( GM of Paris / Ballys) - Its in the ballroom, so potential for a good party.
    - Free drawing entry, and chance for additional ones for every 25 rewards credits earned.
    - Special Guest Appearances ( Probably Gary Lovemnan and Cook E Jarr)
    - Gift Bag with some of David H's Favorite things. Guessing a lot of total rewards crap.

The Drawing prizes look pretty good.

    - Porche
    - Jamaican vacation
    - His / Hers Luxury Watches
    - $25000 in Casino Play

Thanks for the info. I've been considering booking that offer as well. Didn't Loveman finally step down last week although he's still chairman of the board or something. Maybe the new CEO will be there.

FYI, I went to this event and posted a bunch of pics in my Labor day TR. The give always were pretty good, large crowd (3000 people - two ball rooms), and all the CET executives for Paris, Ballys and PHo were there including the GM.
Food was pretty top notch, but the favorite things gift bag was a bunch of crap outside of a self stick. I left the Panni Maker in the room, since no way I was paying 25 bucks to send it home via airline. I did manage to score a free cruise certificate and some free play. Comp nights at Cromwell was the best part of the marketing offer.
