OK all you Vegas pro's, any thoughts on 4 Vegas virgins just turning 21 staying at the Venetian, would need two rooms... My wife likes the "wow" factor of staying there...Thanks for any help...

I've stayed there twice. The rooms are awesome. They say every room is a suite... which means the bed area is elevated a few inches above the "sitting area." You don't really get a suite or what I think of as multiple rooms. But there is a lot of space and it's nicely furnished.

The decor is over the top, an example of what you can do if you have so much money you don't know what to do with it. The owner (Sheldon Adelson) is a huge donor to Republican campaigns. The Venetian was built with the intention of reproducing Venice, Italy. It's a lot smaller than Venice but they did capture all the features of Venice. It's a great place to bring wives and girlfriends, very romantic.

You're also far less likely to get reprimanded for behaving like you just turned 21 than you would over at Wynn or Encore.

That whole area of the strip is less touristy than the rest as well, fewer families with strollers and fat guys with fanny packs, etc.

It may be a little sedate for 21 yr olds....lol. Our granddaughter & 3 friends went when they all turned 21 (stayed at Bally's) and spent a lot of time at the beach club & night club at the Wynn. They loved those but wanted to go on the cheap for the room. They met a group of college guys celebrating graduating from ULCA who were staying at Wynn & the guys got them in to both places....Had a ball

Nice big rooms. Wide variety of restaurants. Good location.

Though, as sybgal mentions, it might not be quite as hopping as many 21 year olds might want. But you could do a helluva lot worse. That's for sure.

Gotta make the wife happy, but as Sybgal says, it is gonna be a lot tamer than a lot of other choices you have. The good news, it is close to Wynn which houses one of the top clubs.

I would let the lady look at Cosmo online, balcony, nice rooms, modern decor, and the club there is a beauty. Across the street you also have Hakkasan and down a few hotels is Mandalay Bay that houses Light Nightclub (My favorite). Definitely do your research, if you can tell us a little more about what you are planning on doing, I would be more than happy to give more advice.

    Love the Venetian.

Huge standard rooms, Large pool complex shared with palazzo, many good food choices in the combined Venetian-Palazzo complex, and a short walk to other destinations (wynncore, harrahs, casino royale, ti) for something different.

Also close to 3 shopping malls (fashion show, forum, and the Venetian mall). Lastly, the express bus to downtown picks up in front of Wynn.

My goto property has been v/p. It is more relaxed with older people. However, I really like the property. It has a lot of food options as carve stated.

If the room cost is the same as cosmo, I would recommend there. That place is built for the young party glamorous vibe.

Either way, you can't go wrong staying at the venetian for your first trip as a 21 year old.
