My wife is wanting to dine at top of The Stratosphere . How is Fellinis? After dinner we are going to Mandalay Bay to see Cirque de Solei . How much time should we allow ourselves for a 9:30. Show ? Appreciate your help .

I noticed a few others recommend Fellinis in another thread so I'm guessing it's pretty good. I've never been there though. Maybe try and get a reservation for around 7. Should give you plenty of time to make it down to Mandalay Bay and grab a cocktail before the show. Guessing you'll be taking a cab there.

We usually get there for the 107th's happy hour @ 5:30-6:00. Just before we go up we make a res at fellini's @ 6:45. It's never so crowded that it's a must for reservations. We hit the 107th lounge for a few, head upstairs to the observation deck (free of charge because we went up to the bar), then have a terrific italian meal at Fellini's. You want to be finished by 8-8:30 to catch a cab with enough time to get you to mandalay bay for your show.

Considering the distance between Strat and Mandalay, pay a few bucks extra and dine at Lupo at Mandalay and have a far more relaxing dinner, knowing that you wont miss the show. Not to knock Fellini's, but unless you are staying at The STRAT , Lupo is a better option.

Food for thought, as the dinner and show evening can fail miserably in Vegas.

The distance between the dinner and show can make for a rush if things get delayed. I have ate at Fellinis...pretty decent Italian food. I agree that I'd be leaving Strat pretty early to get all the way down to MB.

I'm not sure the discussion makes it clear that Fellini's is not in the Stratosphere tower. It's off the casino on the NW side of the ground floor. The restaurant up in the tower is called Top of The World.

Well in that case replace Lupo with Mix and you're all set. Mix has views that will impress and is at Mandalay as well.

Top of The World is my wife's favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Though the food and service are top notch, it's the ambiance she loves. So, for a nice date night, I'll make reservations for sunset views.
