I just got a offer from the Plaza to Match my best recent offer from another casino. Can I plan on getting a match at the time of my next visit, for instance I would like Thurs. and Friday of that week?.

Or would it have to be set up for a following trip. I plan on returning either late August or Sept. the offer is good till Sept. 30?I just got back on June 3. Thanks in advance.

Its very sketchy. I got the same mailer last week and reached out to the host Adolpho or something that I was coded to. I asked if I would have to stay with them in order to match. Example my Mlife offers for $250.00 in FP includes a 3 night stay. And I have to stay in order to get the $350.00. I wanted to know if I came back to the Plaza with that Mlife mailer in hand would they make me stay. It took a few days but he replied with a generic message pretty much without an answer.

So who knows. It reads as if you can just walk up to the club booth with an email or mailer and they will match it to get you to play there. But with every great deal I'm sure there are rules.

I received this letter and now an email. I have a Downtown Grand offer for two free nights, $300 free play, and $25 food comps that I've booked (though I only have to stay one night). I may email him and see if I can do the same thing; it'll be easy to check in there and use the free play. I'll check back in once I contact him.

So far the advice might be to call? What I wanted to know was if I planned a week in LV and left say Wed. and Thurs. unbooked with my other offers, would the Plaza book me on those days if I came in Monday with my matching offer.in hand?

Heard back from the host there again. "Yes, when you arrive just come see me and I can match your FSP offer up to 500. Give me a call when you are coming. And I can place you in a room as well if you like."

So it looks like they will match a room/free play or just the free play without a stay. i made it very clear I had a room booked elsewhere for my next trip and didnt want to burn that host. So it seems you just hand over your mailer/email and they load up your card. its a good deal!

I did this offer with no problem. I got 265 freeplay to match my Cosmo offer and two nights. I went to the player's club and they directed me to a host and he took care of it.

Lets say you get the full $500 match on this and you're a slots player, how would you play this?

    (a) turn it over once, take the profit and run - i'm guessing no further offers and bad karma
    (b) play it to extinction but take your time - probably some offers in perpetuity
    (c) play it for 4 hours and take whatever's left

    or (d) something else?

He also just verified by email that I just need to come in with the offer and he will honor it. I didn't verify the room part, but it looks legit!

Feadolphus here on the board is a host at the Plaza. I emailed him regarding this offer and he booked me three comped nights with $200 free play. It was very easy.

Regarding strategy, I will probably give them a decent amount of play. They have decent VP now so I'll see if any follow up offers will happen. That said, I most likely won't play as high as I do other places initially. I've not heard great things about their marketing efforts and I much prefer upfront marketing comps.

This is exactly what happened to me. I had a host there get me in almost 2 years ago. He was bugging me for months to leave the strip and stay with him. I did and I played through almost $7K worth of coin in that night I was booked. A little off my average but we got to town late. My bounce back comps were $25.00 a night in free play if I stayed with them 1 day. $50 for 2 and $75 for 3. All the while CET, at the time, was giving me $450 with a 2 night stay. TI was $350 and even Mlife was $100 + $100 food/bev + show tix. So their bounce back wasn't nearly enough to get me back.

I told the host and he admitted they suck with things like that and he would try to do better if I came back but it wasnt really worth the effort. Hell I walked thru Downtown Grand and played for an hour and they sent me $100 in free play and a room. Not that i used it but still. I'll give them a look again with this promo and maybe they actually want decent gamblers to return. The last time I was there it was right after the remodel and the place was dead on a Saturday night. The only people I saw gambling were betting a quarter or so per spin like they were wasting time waiting for the buss or something. I'd like to think they want someone with a few grand to blow on a weekend.

With all that said its a nice little casino and our room was pretty awesome. I like grabbing a burger at Mc D's for something fast and everyone, expect the cage critter, were nice. They did lack cash out machines for your TITO's and I had to keep going back to the mean critter but outside of that it was a good time.

Do you need to call ahead on this offer or can you just show up with the mailer and they will match it. thanks

Can we get an update on this? I just received this offer and I'd like to try out the Plaza. Call ahead or just bring in the mailer?

Is this an offer for players who already have Some history in the plaza or is it open to everyone?
