Unfortunately I just sold my two tickets. Would have been my first time, schedule changed and messed up everything. They have shuttles running from a few places on the strip and one downtown, they are able to cut through Nellis AFB off of Lake Mead Blvd. to save some time. They run about 100 bucks for all three days. I can only imagine how long driving or cabbing it would take or cost. You could always charter a helicopter from Maverick but that's $$$. Around 100,000 people per day. Tickets sold out early, Craigslist prices seem to be around $500 each for all three days. Water/food/alcohol are Vegas festival prices, but that's to be expected. Lol. Hopefully will make it next year, heard it's a pretty amazing.

    I'm about 30 years too old and 40 lbs.overweight.

Still, I like sitting in the casino and watch the young ladies come stumbling in at 5AM.

Made it the last 2 years but will miss it this year.

Went edc last year in 2014.
Frankly its more fun atmosphere in the casino hotels pools nightclub with all the girls roaming than actually at edcfestival.

I went to EDC 2013 Thursday - Sunday.

It was crazy! Cell phone doesn't work out there that well so have a meeting point. After the event it took me 3 days to recover Hahahaha. Also head to the e net early. Last year it took 2-3 hrs to get into the event cause of traffic. I tell everyone that loves EDM music to experience EDC in Vegas once!

We are getting a table for the Saturday event this year.

Thankfully, I will be departing Vegas just by the hairs of my chinny-chin-chin by the time this thing gets started.

And yes, I'm an old fart. :Þ

    Hey, get off my grass!

I'll be there. I've been every year it's been in Vegas. Staying at Cosmo again. A lot of artists stay there. The shuttle to the festival and back is very convienient as well. They also have EDMbiz conference there in the days leading up to the festival.

You are right in guessing that the gamblers will be less. That's not just for cosmo either.

If you are considering going but don't want to do the whole 3 day experience just do Sunday. People who have to work Monday almost give away their tickets after Saturday night.

First year it was in vegas no cab ride was less than $100. I took one going back Sunday and it was $135 if I remember correctly. Every year traffic gets better. Helicopters are $3,000 one-way or $5,000 round-trip, or individual seats cost $500 one-way or $800 round-trip. I would only consider a helicopter if you are staying off strip as you still have to make it to and from maverick.

I'll be there for edc weekend. 3rd time in vegas that weekend, first time at the festival. Symbols let me know if you want to meet up for some gambling before/after the festival. Tial, I am down to split for bottle service for Saturday, PM me how much. I'm going solo, so looking for a chill group to join.

You already have your ticket? The table comes with VIP bands. Not sure if it's any different.

From what I hear it will be difficult the sell days that you don't want to do. They are doing wrist bands now like coachella which security will be checking if they are on tight so people can't transfer. Not sure if this is true or not.

You never know what they are going to do. Anyone claiming to know is lying. It's different every year and different between who is checking what. I never put my wristband on tight enough to not slip off. I didn't want it on when dining and gambling during the day. Remember, most of the staff are actually volunteers

Last year shuttles were wristbands were RFID coded to your pickup location (you could still go back on any stop), but they didn't ever scan them. I had a friend stay with me at Cosmo who purchased a LINQ shuttle pass since Cosmo sold out and he was able to use the Cosmo shuttle every night. The previous year I was never checked for a shuttle wristband leaving the speedway once. The closest was stuff asking people to hold up their hand. Instead of checking they were making sure people were getting on the busses as fast as possible.

Coming to town and will be hitting up XS Thurs for Avicci and Hakassan Satuday for Calvin Harris. Rest of the time will be gambling/maybe some pools. While I love EDM, even if I could get a ticket Im not sure that 100,000 people in 105 degree weather is the best way to spend a weekend...
