Shadow Creek is closed while we are visiting in July and I see Dragon Ridge has been added to the Aria website listing. Can anyone comment on the course, condition, etc? We are scratch golfers looking for a nice track in great shape. Don't mind paying a high green fee. Thanks in advance.

I last played it a few years ago so not at current conditions .
Tiger did his Jam there once if memory serves. Mountain course, reminds me a bit of the now closed The Falls at LLV.
Good track but I didn't think it was anything exceptional.
Clubhouse-restaurant is cool with a nice view.

I haven't played DR in five years, so I can't be much help. It's a fun track but it has some funky holes. Personally I'd look to Coyote Springs if you don't mind a bit of a drive, maybe do a 36-hole day at Paiute.

The thing I remember most was the baby rattlesnake in the cool moist confines of the first hole cup. It was under the metal cub bottom.
Made me really, really pay attention to the removal of my balls after putting.

I was just out there this past January and loved it! Course was in fabulous condition, greens were perfect, light rough, great scenery with amazing homes lining every hole. I've played a lot of good courses in Vegas and this one is one of the best IMO. Would definitely recommend teeing it up there

Highlands is a stronger track from start to finish. Dragon is a bit like SouthShore -- nice outward views but just enough routing quirks and weak holes to keep 'em off the top shelf.

If you can get on Southern Highlands, I think it is one of the nicer courses in LV. Good routing and challenging. Jones Sr. and Jr. course design. The last one they did together (or so I've been told)
