Hello, does the Chicago Brewing place inside 4 Queens still have a cigar bar? (I don't remember if it was nice or not). If not, can anyone make some recommendations on some close to dowtown, preferably not inside of a casino. Thanks!
It's not a bar, but my husband frequents En Fuego. It's near the Golden Steer. Good selection, good prices and a lounge to smoke. When I tag along, I prefer to go to Rhumbar at Mirage. Great margaritas and I like the fresh air, rather than being cooped up in a confined space. Casa Fuente at the Forum Shops has a humidor, lounge and serves cocktails.
Its hard to tell from the 4Q website and other places that I searched. I like to just stroll Fremont St with a smoke, and I'll smoke one at the tables, but only if its not going to be an issue for other players or if I know the dealer and know that he or she has an issue with smoke. I'll bet that there's someplace on E Fremont St that caters to smokers, I think that there's a hookah bar there. Enjoying a Henry Clay Brevas Fina on the deck as I type this. We'll be in town the same time, we'll be DT also. JW
great! yeah I hadn't had a cigar in 2 years until last night. Kinda missed the smoking-and-b'sing that comes with it so im looking to continue that in Vegas soon
There is also a cigar bar in Binion's. It's in Benny's bullpen. They have Chicago Brewing beers and bbq also
Unfortunately, the Hookah Bar on Fremont East closed. But there is a decent cigar selection inside the Plaza. Just head upstairs on the escalator and there's usually a nice girl waiting, happy to help. If there is no one at the desk, pick up a business card from the counter and text the cell number. I've found they're very responsive and even had a cigar waiting for me when I texted them from the Golden Gate Prohibition Bar across the street. Of course, you can light up right here inside the Plaza if you want, too. It can only improve the smell of the place...
While there is no cigar bar in Binions now, there is an awesome cigar store called Vatos. It's right across the way from where Benny's Bullpen is/was. They have an extensive selection of their own brands as well as a decent selection of most other brands. Paul and Sarah Vato are knowledgeable and very friendly. The only downside is they don't open until around 5pm daily. Every time I'm in town I get a box of their Aloha maduros to bring home with me. The best tasting sticks I've ever smoked... Give them a try next time downtown!
Seconded. And price comparison on the Hemingway Short Story Penis cigars $16 at Four Queens, $12 at Vatos, but buy 3 get one free, so less than $10 a stick.
Actually, there is a cigar lounge in Binion's carved out of the BBQ place. See here: http://www.vegaschatter.com/story/2015/2/13/12854/2393/vegas-travel/Binion%27s+Prepping+A+Cigar+Lounge
Cool, I didn't know that! I have yet to try the BBQ place so now, eat BBQ, smoke a cigar after is on my list!
I'm not a cigar expert by any means, but I got a basic Macanudo cigar at the Plaza for about $20. Dominican reject for less. $15 I think.
What is the norm when visiting a Cigar lounge like Rhumbar , can you bring your own , or do they expect you to buy their cigars when in their lounge ? Bob
Rhumbar at least you can bring your own with now issue, although I'm sure they are expecting you to order a drink, have not visited a ton of others that would consider themselves cigar bars, but for the most part, bringing your own seems to be fine, when ordering drinks
