    Sounds like a good time.
Wife and I stayed a night there over Christmas Break, on a crosscountry road trip...we stayed at Horseshoe, and we really enjoyed playing there and Gold Strike...If it were as close as Vegas/Reno/Tahoe/Laughlin, we'd definitely go...but alas, it isn't.

Tax time (W2-G) is anything over $1199.99 on slots or $1500.00 at Keno.

IRS is considering changing it to $599.99

The Tunica market has been struggling since the flood shut them down a couple of years ago. I hope to get up there this summer. I had plans for last summer but injured my leg bad enough at the end of our school year that I couldn't drive for three months. I haven't been up there in three years. Congrats on the hits that you had.

    Nice hits!

Not sure which part of the casino you were looking at, but resorts has overhauled their slot floor in the past year. Much newer games than Sam's Town across the street. We definitely noticed this because we liked the older games!

And Resorts and Roadhouse are also just dead a lot because tunica is over saturated with casinos and people have plenty of room to spread out in the "nicer" casinos. And RebelDiceMan is right about the flood too. A lot of local people gave the West Memphis racino a shot during the flood (tunica was closed for a month!) and they go there more now. Go to horseshoe/gold strike on a normal weekday afternoon and it will look pretty dead too. Also Sam's Town completely shut down their upper floor this year. Tunica is hurting bad. Probably only AC is worse in that regard.

I'd say as far as CASINO'S go..Reno is hurting worse...but it helps they're an actual CITY (tons of conventions come through, HAN, RibCookOff, plus the University)
